Version 1.0.7 addresses the issues with the battle pacing and the lack of visual cues there and also fixes the bug with the delivery items. Thank you all for your kind comments and feedback!
Great visuals, funny enemies. Nice work!
It was interesting experience it reminded me a bit of Undertale. I would improve the combat experience so I see more information. But quite a nice game.
The visuals are top notch! I love the retro sci-fi aesthetic. I really like the idea of the gameplay loop you have. I think you could improve the overall experience by making the combat encounters a little faster. Maybe shorten the delay at the start of each turn? Overall though you made a fantastic game! I'd love to see more of it or even other games in this style.
The art is beautiful, I loved it a lot. The writing/story is really good too, I can see the effort you put into that. I feel I'll just repeat other comments with my feedback. The only really annoying thing that I have to repeat is the delays at the start of battles and between actions.
Quite the ending! I'm glad I pulled through to the end.
This is a strangely addicting game, I couldn't let myself quit before I hit the magic number.
The battles felt more sluggish than they needed to be, a lot of pauses before actions can be put in.
Two of the upgrades couldn't be bought, it's possible because I tried to buy more than one before checking the dropbox. 'CARB' insisted they only sell one a month but they refused to sell me any and 'MAG' simply refused to respond when I clicked on it in action mode.
Yea I suspect the items would still be in the box if you bought multiples. By clicking on the box again you can get the other item. I should change this in a future update. Thanks for playing and feedback!
The idea is great. The ending is like real life hahaha!
I love your art.
I would like to see thehealth of enemy. However i like the texts in fight!
I liked the idea, but some things rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn't see the health of the enemy and the fights had these long pauses before I could do anything, which made fighting feel like it was taking forever and I didn't even know if I was anywhere close to winning.
Otherwise the art was cool and the game was well done to have multiple things you could see/use and there was a reason to fight and buy upgrades/etc. I've been a fan of old Point & Click adventures and it reminded me a bit of those, but I would say speed up the dialogue/attacks on the fighting part and show enemy health. Right now I was just blocking every now and then and doing minimal damage at the start and no idea if this enemy had 1000 health or 10 health and I was afraid it would be the first one and I would sit here all day pressing attack - block - attack :D
Great submission and a proper game already as it is, just some polishing and for sure it would be a even more fun experience!
That's something to look into for the next update. Thanks for playing
Solid submission, reminded me of old school Myspace games, well done!
Cool idea, love the atmosphere! I don't want to live in this dystopia thank you
Awesome game! Great play on the concept, amazing art, good music, creative enemies... Just a fantastic job well done!
lovely game :) Good job.
I love games like old school. Great vibe.
You are great!
This was fun. Reminded me of old point-and-click adventure games. The ending was amusing, too:)
Good game
I love how you contextualized the mechanics within the narrative! I wasn't totally sure if the RPG combat was meant to service the story, or if they themselves were the point of the game, but everything is of super high quality. Great job!
