I thought the flashlight mechanic was a cool idea. But I ended up just sticking to the small one just because I liked the mobility of being able to jump higher. That's probably why I took so much damage at certain parts lol. It was cool a little difficult for me but cool :)

Really cool game!

This was a really nice game, the art style perfectly fit and the lighting mechanics were impressive. really good job on this!

Nice game! I like the itch page. The art, music and sfx are nice and go well together. I think the jump animation looks a bit weird though. I like that the game has several different enemies. It would be nice if there was a way to heal.

this gives me 2D Alan wake feeling, which is great. sound is awesome too, very ominous vibe. not imidatelly going left in platformer is nice touch :D all in all Great job!

Love  this idea.   I think the range of the attacks could be a little bigger but I really liked it Good job People!

I like the idea of using a flashlight as a sword, although I didn't have the feeling that it had as much impact on the fight as it did on the movement.

But I liked it - it was well handled, with nice aesthetics. I'm just a bit sad that I couldn't see the monster a little bit better.

The mechanic of not being able to see the monsters unless your flashlight was on them really did capture the terror of having to turn off the light and sprint to your room as fast as possible before a demon inevitably kills you. Fantastic game!

Cool game! The use of shadows made for some interesting moments.

I like the vintage feel of the game

A nice little game with great potential

Really not my sort of game I liked the dark theme though

Really fun, I liked how the more light you use limits your movement, do I want to see or be agile?

Nice game! I had fun playing it and all the levels felt good with a nice ramp of difficulty. I'm sad I didn't really get to see more of the enemies. The first time I met one of the bigger enemies I definitely felt a little bit creeped out. Great work on the aesthetics!

Nice game, the mechanic of trading off mobility for vision is really good, I think you should try continue working on it :)

Nice little game, atmosphere is pretty dark and and the music is eerie. I like it. Also, the health bar is designed very well. And also, the light and shadow parts are very well done. Good job.

There's no story except for helping the bear and the mechanic is already seen in much of the platformers. Sound of being hit by those black enemies would be great addition, because now you only know by shrinking health bar which isn't that visible if you're focusing on the game.

ps. That bear is giving me the creeps.

Great atmosphere and visuals! Nice work!

Nice game. The implemented features are good.

Maybe faster attack animation depending on the light cycle and making the enemy visible for a short time from afar like glowing eyes or reflecting light will be helpful.

The most intense trip to bed! I'm happy to say I helped Benny conquer his biggest fear, though one more hit would have been the end of him. I really like the idea of trading off mobility for vision by having the larger flashlight encumber you, but since I love being able to move quickly and jump high I kept it on the lowest setting most of the time. :D

You page doesn't list gamepad controls but I can confirm the game is fully playable with one!
