I felt the controls were a bit off and could not figure out much after a point.

I'm quite confused, it took me quite a bit of time till i managed to make play button work, when i did, i instantly died.
Yeah very sad. We had a fix for the menu as well as the final level (where you don't die immediately) ready like 30 minutes after submission closed. Due to upload-lock during rating, we couldn't patch the final version. :c
