I deeply support this kind of game but was too stupid to figure out where the drill was supposed to get emplaced in the tutorial, or the problem was that when i x-out the tutorial dialogue box the tutorial's system isn't robust enough to insist on spawning another dialog box to get me back in it (or assumes i'm an expert for closing it).

However:

- yay for a procedurally generated map

- yay for blocky maps that remind me of when i built a Civ-1 clone with custom binary read write in BASIC in like 1991 and heard my HDD go grind grind grind during worldgen. (I didnt even have Borland C++ then)

- i'm down for it because i'm the personality type for Creativity First (my musical pieces attest to that very strongly)

gave you an itch follow, if you like the things on my page(s) consider doing the same.

Much respect for a brave game entry.

Cheers!

Very good idea. I've difficulties with the UI. But the overall idea is really good. Good work and continuation with your project.

So I really like this idea, but I couldn't figure out how to get the iron/copper ore? I placed the drills and they seemed to be placed correctly (I could select iron/copper in the drop-down), then I placed a storage container, and even added some conveyor belts between them, but it didn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Developer

The conveyor belts have to be placed on the bottom side of the drills in the middle

Not sure how to play but it looks interesting. The UI text is tiny and hard to read. The only thing I managed to do was to chop down trees :)

Thank you for the feedback 😁. Unfortunately it's my first game I compile to WebGL and I couldn't get the resolutions to work 😭. We definitely plan to fix this tho

Interesting idea to implement. It would be good to set goals on what to do to complete the game, something like build that thing collect that much, and after those actions something like a story will be told bit by bit.

We plan to make this a long or at least somewhat complete project. We fell in love with the idea and want to elaborate on it. Thanks for the feedback 😃

The explanatory inscriptions on the buildings are not very visible. The sound also needs to be improved. There is potential for development.
