loved the sound effects !

I really like the topdown perspective and the Binding of Isaac room style.

I just thought that the shooting mechanic could be improved a little bit, not the sound effects, "pew pew" were a awesome. It's strange for me using the mouse only to shoot and not to guide the player facing direction. It makes hitting enemies harder than I think it should be because you have to carefully align yourself instead of using the mouse to aim which is more intuitive. I also think that the big spider hitbox was smaller than I would expect it to be.

But overall a very nice game.

Like others I did initially get confused until I understood the attack meter, but once I got going it was a simple yet fun little game. Could use a little more animation in places but a great effort that generated lots of interesting gameplay challenges.

Great game! I liked the sound effects, although I was sort of confused at the start, until I got to know what the meter at the top right meant. Overall great game! Very cool

Thanks for playing the game and the comment! Cheers!

Nice game! I wish there was some tutorials / explanation for the stamina/meter as it took me a while to understand.

I’d love to see where you go with this when adding bosses and loots (unless I missed them?)!

Thanks for the comment! We planned to have at least a boss fight, but we ran out of time unfortunately. :( We are still talking about iterating on this concept, so maybe who knows what we can manage to add in the future.

nice game it's like legend of zelda that can use projectiles instead

Developer

Thanks! We definitely got inspired by that and The Binding Of Isaac :)

Nice game, kinda feels like Binding of Isaac. The stink meter took a little bit of trial and error to work out. The little spiders are hard to deal with as I keep missing due to my bugs' wide turning circle haha.
Nice work, it's a fun game.

Thanks for the comment! We realized too late that it isn't super clear how to increase the stink meter. We made the stink meter paired with the fear the bug is having towards the enemies, so if you are close enough you get scared and the meter goes up. It's pretty much how it works in real life with the stinky bugs! :) But yeah, we hate the little spiders as well! :)

Nice enemy design and I like the dungeon layout, I couldn’t work out how your attack meter goes up though! In some rooms it seemed like it was only going up when I went in a certain direction, and some it barely went up at all… Overall a good idea and pretty bugs

Thank you buddy for your comment, very appreciated.
The attack meter (actually a "stink meter") grows as your fear of the enemy grows. Indeed, closer you stay from a bad enemy, faster the meter increases.
If there is something not working as expected, well, this means there is a bug, and we still got the target :P
