Theme interpretation
We developed this game fuelled by our passion for classic run and gun arcades based on a literal interpretation of the theme: the player shoots meteorites on the moon.

The idea is nice and well executed. Graphics are really good, and the music adds a really nice touch. The gameplay is simple but challenging, although the planting zones collision looks a bit buggy. I would have loved to see some upgrades to the weapon system or the planting one. Overall a nice Godot game! Good work!

This was a fun game! [Fixed] But the github repository is not present!

Gameplay: Overall a good experience, controls worked and felt right. Targetting the planting sites was really hit and miss. Shots felt a bit slow moving, I mostly just dodged instead of actively aiming for meteors.

Graphics: Beautiful. I especially enjoyed the progressive damage to the ship. It would have been nice to have a proper crashing animation to go along with it.

Audio: Everything sounded good!

Theme intepretation: Not a lot to go on, but I’m not expecting a lot from an infinite scrolling shooter. I did not feel especially rewarded for successful plantings though.

Innovation: Having a secondary goal in addition to shooting down enemies was a nice touch.

It gives a 404 error. Perhaps it is set to private?

Thanks Justin, looking into it.

Great atmospheric music and graphics! Love the biting rocks. Also the idea of terraforming the Moon is really cool. Just to mention that it would be great to have more feedback while planting seeds.

Good job!

Thanks for your feedback jvalen! We're looking into improving our planting system as we speak :)

Art is good, I also like the ship destruction as you get hit by the meteorites. I had the same issues with the inconsistent planting though.

This didn't load on my browser (Chrome). Let me know if you fix the issue. I'd love to try it. Sounds interesting.

Developer

Hi Stefan, Chrome is a bit slow at the moment (it does eventually load). If you have access to Edge/Firefox it does play better on these browsers.

Ta-da! It did load with some patience. I'm glad you pointed that out. I really liked the art style. The game had a great aesthetic. And the ships degradation animations were really fun, especially throwing off sparks. However, the planting sensitivity was inconsistent for me. I'm not sure if that's a collider mismatch or what, but sometimes I'd hit outside of the mound and it would trigger a plant, and other times I'd hit dead in the center and got nothing. Overall a very nice package though.

Developer

Hi Stefan, thanks for playing and for your feedback! You're correct, the planting sensitivity has been a bit inconsistent but we're working on it! Should be fixed when we release the next update :)
