This is the first time I tried to make a game not take itself too seriously by adding more memes than my usual games. I am sorry if it comes across as trying too hard.
This is also my first Fishfest game jam! Happy to be apart of it. The fish I mean folks over at discord are great to hang out with while I lose my sanity over why my code doesn't work or why my UV maps aren't mapping.
I will admit the balancing of the game is not good so it's my fault for your low performance and yes doors are mere illusions in this game? Why? You'll have to ask the past version of me why he chose that. I quite frankly don't know why he chose to do it that way.

Thank you for the kind words! Apologies for the unbalanced game. Seems like everyone whose played has had a hard time serving customers on time. Will work on that. Glad you loved the little easter eggs. I probably spent more time making them rather than balancing the game. Whoops.

As for making a deal with the devil, I may have set the interaction count too high. Might have to knock on the door a few more times.

If you clicked on the TV that was hanging at the right side of the store, you would've been greeted with some casual Kevin Mcleod music. The spawn rates are randomized based on your rating with only a 10% chance to spawn every second in the first level. You might have gotten unlucky whoops.
As for selling fish towards the front, I will definitely look into trying to make it feel better.
