man -- it's always aliens every summer, crazy how that stuff happens huh?

anyways - soundtrack is amazing! it's so unique with a lot of texture, the different rhythms help keep it interesting throughout the whole ost, and the alien sounds in that final mothership track was just ear candy to me.

if I had one nit pick, it would be that the 808 kicks were in little too loud in some cases for such a vibey track, but other than that this was a fantastic ost all round :D

this the second time I'm listening -- was too flabbergasted the first time to write down a comment so i'm doing it now.

This is an absolute BANGER of a track <>[]<> and that bass is absolutely smeggzy - thanks for blessing my ears!!!!!! -u-

thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed it!!! :D

Glad you enjoyed :D !!!

tysm for listening!

thanks a ton! :D

that was really beautiful, the storytelling was amazing in this one i could just imagine it in my head. Really felt like denial to me, and the inevitable realization of the truth, and the acceptance of that truth.

really love this one, all round an amazing submission! :)

Really loved the guitar in this one, it's way different in tone to the others i think but like in a good way! overall a really awesome submission, good stuff !!! :D

thank you so much! glad you enjoyed :D

glad to hear you liked it! i also love risk of rain so maybe that shun through a bit who knows XD

tysm for listening!

good to hear you enjoyed it! :D

tysm for listening !!!

thanks for listening!

nah don't worry, glorbians are harmless -- trust me, I know my own memories :)

Such an amazing track, the composition is so well done and interesting, the voice recordings really add such a impactful and eerie tone and the strings or bassoon or whatever that is is absolutely amazing to listen to.

third track my fav but the others are lovely too, nice work!

It sounds amazing! the composition was great and the final boss track was just *mwah* amazing work all around!

Great stuff !! :D

I love it! super chill soundtrack but it's still packed with enough emotion to capture the listener, I would so dig hearing this in a game! nice work!

the use of leitmotifs and the storytelling are both fantastic, got chills on dockside clues when it called back to the first track with the woman's murder. absolutely fantastic work! loved every second of it! :D

beautiful! i love the instrumentation and that ticking sort of driving the song forward more, good stuff! :D

I love it! super interesting vibe it builds and the arpeggio in the first two tracks is just immaculate o[]o!!!!

Good stuff!!!!

I definitely agree there about better connection between tracks -- good to keep in mind for the next jam :D

tysm for listening!!!

tysm for enjoying!!! :)

oh goodness how did i miss that ;[];  -- thanks for the clarification i miss stuff easily sometimes :)

i retract that previous statement about scritch then, fabulous work! :D

Love it! the first track is super interesting but I think the atmosphere that the forest builds is is extremely cool, good stuff :D !!!

Sound absolutely Beautiful!!! I love the vibe made here and it's all really professional and well done all I could ask for would be to use the scritch editor: https://torcado.itch.io/scritch-editor to make the music play in the browser for easier viewing, but other than that this is fantastic! good stuff!

that's so trueeeeeee! don't worry I can figure it out anyways -- I know people :D

AM I CRAZY OR DOES THE FINAL SONG IMPLY THAT WE WERE "JUDGEMENT" !?!?!?!?!??!?!

It's so blindingly beautiful ;[];

looking good man! keep it up! :D

these particles are great! I needed something like this so bad, thank you kindly :]

"hi!, haha!, no way..., *grunt, unit ready, on it!, we're under attack!, AEHhh, okay, hey ;), ehahahaha!, *vomits, *dies, game over."

yeah, I've heard enough, i'll take your whole stock, thank you very much.

fantastic game, i do have two small nitpicks, one, the camera movement follows the player and ends up lagging behind a bit, you can end up running into enemies without seeing them sometimes, i think it might help for the camera to follow a bit ahead of where the player is moving toward. And two, slimes should move a bit differently, instead of a constant speed of acceleration, they should dash in short bursts to match with their animation, so they're more so shimmying across the floor than sliding around. (the slime movement is more so for visuals so don't take it too serious.) All in all though the art is simplistic and fantastic, and the game feels great to play, Love it!

I take it back, physically disabled or not I beat it.

Lol, this is fire, but I can't beat it in the html version, I keep opening up my files while I play the game, pretty sure I downloaded a virus and sent nudes to everyone within my area as well. 10/10 though, music slaps.

Hey man, the center fishing box being bugged I was aware of but I couldn't come up with a solution in time, I'll fix it when the jam is over. you can get out of the shop its a bit confusing but you need to press Q, I was running out of time with the shop so I had to improvise, thank you for your feedback :)

unterdale :)

Thank you, much appreciated :)

I'm interested in making a game with some kind of fighting mechanic, Is it okay if I use this for a prototype?

haha, catching seagulls with a fishing rod is a brilliant idea, too bad I didn't think about it. My eyes would cross at the water when they got too strained while making it, be sure you're getting sufficient sleep and taking breaks, thank you so much for playing :)

SO GOOD! It took me a good few tries before I understood the mechanics, but I loved everything about the game, the graphics, audio, and little storyline it had going on complimented one another really well, despite it being short it's got to be one of the best games in the jam I've played so far! the only issue I really noticed is how the player could clip through the sub sometimes, and it was a bit frustrating, all in all, very nicely done :)

(1 edit)

Feet / 10 ;) (sadly no pufferfish)

Love the game! there aren't many differences between levels though, I'd love to see some more things going on, otherwise great job :)
