Great artwork and concept! Very cute and fun. My feedback is that I'd consider zooming out the camera more so that players can see ahead more easily. I feel like this is something that's easy not to notice if youre the person that made the maps, but for me I had a hard time know where the next turn would be. Otherwise nice work!

You’re more than welcome!! Okay, so I will send it to you here then
First of all, it will be great to have a game mode where you have to race against the AI like Mario Kart games And finally, it will be great to apply a thing than do almost all the race games than are when you’re last the AI go more slower and when you go first the AI go more faster for always make you have to be concentrated
For the rest the game is very great!! So good job doing it and good luck working on it!!
Great, thx for the suggestions!🙌
In fact, a race mode - and later, also a championship mode - are already in planning and I've also started working on the race logic! It will probably be added with the update after the next one! I've also planned an "elimination" mode and more - I just need a little time to implement everything 😉
But first, there will be another track and more chairs to choose from!
As for the "rubber-banding": I'm aware of this mechanic but am honestly not a big fan... It kinda feels like betrayal: bad players get fooled into thinking they are not that bad, whereas good players get punished with suddenly faster AI opponents. One of the main inspirations for this game are the Micro Machines games which didn't have rubber-banding and where you had to learn the courses to be able to beat the AI... So I'll rather work a little on the difficulty of the AI than to add rubber-banding 😉
Hi I was part of the steamers in the Feedback Quest. There's a VOD up of me playing this on Stream.
There's little for me to say about this game. Its simple genuine fun. Its hard and but enjoyable.
My only gripes are that the controls could be better and I WISH this was available for Online play. It would be SO MUCH FUN to play this with a bunch of people on big tracks. Its potential is amazing and I hope you keep working on it.
I hope to see more of this. Please keep up the good work!
Hi and thanks a lot for playing and the great feedback I got from your comment, as well as from your stream! 🤯🙂👍
I'm indeed working on more content right now: Next update will have adjusted AI opponents, 5 new chairs with different driving behaviours, a new track (5th track "Anthony's Home) and a new secret character!
Btw: you can enter 'biggusdickus' in the title menu for a "Swinger's Club mode" 😏♥️
And in the character selection menu, enter "robert", "cthulhu" or "valeria" to play as one of the secret characters 😉
I also want to enable the players to customize the controls as I know that the current fixed setup isn't optimal. But you can also play with a controller already!
I might take online play into consideration for a later update as I would need to learn how this could be realized first... But I'll really keep that in mind as I also know that this could be very entertaining as an online game - and your viewers seem to have the same opinion 😉
Send my thanks and appreciation also to ILYA and mayshing 👋🍻💜
Hello! I was one of the streamers who took part in Feedback Quest, and I'm here to leave some comments I had while playing.
To start, I loved the part where you had to start by running to get a chair. This makes it feel like real life, where you can try to steal the chair an opponent was going for in order to slow them down. The game also plays how I would expect it to.
When I was playing, I was confused as to what power-ups did. There should be an explanation, either in the race or before you go in, that shares what they all do. Some of them I never figured out what they did.
I would recommend giving the player a mini-map in the corner of the entire race track and something to indicate where they are as opposed to the arrows that indicate the direction to go. The arrows don't adequately prepare you in time with the limited view you have, while a mini-map would allow the player to see well in advance where they need to turn.
Hi and thanks a lot for your feedback! 👍
Due to another comment, I'm actually already planning to add a practice/tutorial track where you'll get to know everything you need to race successfully around the tracks.
The power ups work as follows:
- Blue energy drinks refresh your energy which you can see at the bottom. Once it runs out it's game over, so keep an eye out on it.
- The Turbo Sneakers will give you a 33% speed boost for 3s
- The Wheel Shield lets you roll over rugs and puddles without getting slowed down
I'm also planning to add 2 more power ups in a future version 😉
I'll take the mini-map suggestion into consideration. Thx 👍
Can I re-watch your stream somewhere? I'd love to have a link! 😉
Nice game, but as someone else pointed out, make the AIs a bit worse at racing. I am terrible at racing games anyway, but it would be nice to stand a chance on the first track.
It also occurs to me that maybe your current first track should be the third or fourth track, after a couple of easier ones. For example, have less hazards (carpet and water) to start with, as well as making the AIs easier to beat. Or maybe have a first track with just a few carpet hazards, a second track with a few water hazards, then start combining them, so there is some sort of progression of difficulty.
Now it's running in the web version - wheeeeeeeee! :D
Fun game, need to try the two players mode...
Only one thing that I would improve: if you are close to a right wall, the player disappears behind it. I understand the perspectives of that, but it looks still a bit odd. Maybe change that?
Regarding the AI, here's a suggestion: make it slower when it's leading and faster when it's catching up! This way the game will keep challenging.
The game is fantastic. It has a vibe of 'Micro Machines' for those who remember the end of the last century! The pace is great, the music is engaging and the difficulty is... well... like in the 90's! Excellent!
Game is very fun, AI is extremely challenging but I had a wonderful time playing this. I spent probably 20 minutes just running through one course! Great work!
This is really charming!! I think the AI are pretty brutal tho, I can barely get 2nd on easy mode, so I'd like to see them be a bit more balanced! Got any plans for any other game modes like lapped/timed eliminator or some kind of battle mode?
Hi and thanks a lot for the feedback!
Balancing AI might be one of the hardest things to do! I already recognized that even the normal AI might be a little too strong... Will work on it more at a later point 😉 - a little tip: try to get the power ups first! They don't drive that good when they don't get them 😉
And yes, there will definitely be more game modes! Race, championship, elimination and "reach the couch", where you have to get to a certain couch before the time runs out are on my agenda. 🪑🏁💜
Damn, that's really strange! And why is only the Play-button affected? 🤔
I'm already discussing it with some gamedev friends and I'm trying to get feedbacks from other Mac users to maybe get an idea of how to fix this... I will also try another idea I have in mind later today...
Thx for your feedback so far! 👍
