I'm so so glad you enjoyed this one, this game kinda kicked my butt, though really it was more or less a warm up for Ludum Dare 46 , wich it really kicking my butt right not, fingers crossed i get to finish it at the same qulity as this game. :3

This really does have a great retro-feel to it.  The graphics are really charming and the audio suits it perfectly.  Great work!

Damn.  This game.  So ace.  Love it.  DOS feel everywhere.  The gameplay.  The graphics.  The soundtrack.  The screen flicker.  Everything.  Definitely a winner.

Thanks! I was really surprised this game turned out so well, I'm tempted to add more content and maybe releasing it as a full on game at some point, its so simple but it weirdly works quite well. I'm so glad you enjoyed it all.

Took a hot minute to understand what was going on but it really picked up! Really liked how the health worked with trying to get to the goal of each stage. Good stuff! And as always the visuals are stunning!

hehe for a game that was under the limitation of over 5 jams ( DosGameJamEasy Jam (8 Bits to Infinity), Cartridge Jam 3 (Dallas Society of Play) and 8 Bits to Infinity ~ Weekly Challenge #2 ) it turned out well, biggest difficulty was Weekly Challenge 2's forced 8x8 rule and i turned around took it a step more and made all sprites 1-bit limiting myself to 2 colors per 8x8 tile. and i had to do the Cart Jam3 stuff and make it fit with the cart image i picked so.... i have no idea how this became a game.... let alone something fun.
