I like the concept of creating minions out of your fallen foes. I couldn't get it to work though the game froze for me whenever I came out of the minion menu.

otherwise I have to agree with a lot of the other comments about field of view. It felt cramped not having any peripheral vision. I know this was a last second submission, I was struggling with last second bugs myself and can commiserate there. If you are planning to post an update post rating period, I'll try to take another look next week.

I thank you for your feedback and would appreciate a second try but I was within another Game Jam and had no time to fix the relevant bugs yet. I am starting today and try to figure why the game freezes. I will send an update as soon I am done including the updated camera position!

I was able to crush all these pityful creatures. I think playing slowly might allow that the game does not freeze to death. I like the concept and the enemies look cool but it seems that they never die, you can revive the same monster as much as you want, damage from both parts might be a bit low too, and I prefer to see the tiles on my left and right when navigating, at least in traditional cases such as this one.

I've got the same problem as the others posted here - controls stop working sporadically. Seems to be happening just after combat, either with the middle spell or by using corpses in inventory.

The only way for me to advance is by clickspamming fire at all times, and always choose revive when presented with the option. After a skeleton fight my health bar disappeared, I think something popped up but since I was clickspamming it immediately closed? Anyway, I could beat the skellies and then I reached the ogre thing. Then I got clobbered to death lol

I'm curious to see what the intended way to play would be, and how it would continue.

As for generic feedback of what I could play: I'm also not a fan of not seeing if you can go left or right when entering a new tile. It makes things a bit more tedious without much purpose, as far as I can tell. The music sets the mood, and the graphics are fitting. Other than that, I couldn't get far enough to comment on other features or mechanics :(

The animated creatures look nice.

I couldn’t really figure out how the combat works though. An in-game tutorial for the first combat encounter would be nice.

Concept is interesting but the game often freezes when I revive mobs and I can no longer move or perform any other action :(

Not being able to see what is to your left or right unless you turn makes navigating a pain. Every step you take you have to check if  you are at an intersection .

Not sure what the middle green button does during combat. Combat ends, the enemies just keep standing there. 

The controls stopped working every time after a minute or so in the game.

Really liked the music, eerie...

The middle green button is the minion inventory where you can change place with a minion. It exchanges afterwards with a "turn back to Necromancer button". 

if you revive enemies after combat they stand up again and disappear after 2 seconds. You will find a new entry in your minion inventory then. 

About the controls stopping to work and the view I will have a look. I will probably push an update after jam then. But thank you for the feedback.
