Really well done! The visuals are great and the gameplay is quite fun! I like how you can blow up ads through walls since it allows a little bit of planning (e.g. where can I place a bomb to optimize my progression). The multiple X's to close ads was also pretty unique and was a nice added twist on that final level. I did find one bug where I placed a bomb, an ad hit me, then my own bomb blew me up, causing me to take a double stun. This then froze my character, so I had to wait for time to run out before restarting. Otherwise, the story was a great bit of polish and the experience was overall really fun!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!! The double stun bug is something I just found recently when testing. It's definitely near the top of my list of bugs to fix if I'm improving the game.

This is so well-polished and the idea of ad bombs is just so unique!! I would really like to see the outside of their bedroom but this is a 48h jam after all:/ I was lwk stuck at level 2 but my roommate walked by and helped me beat it lol which says a lot about how interesting your game is!

Developer

Thanks so much! I'm glad the story we hastily threw together was engaging hehe

The difficulty tuning is definitely something that slipped by us before submitting.  I think I woke up the next day and had trouble beating levels 2 and 3 as well lol, so thanks for bringing that up as well. Glad you liked it!

An amazing game!!! I'm so surprise how much you guys cranked out in 48 hours!!! The levels were fun and challenging!!! Especially that final level (I was stuck on it for a bit)!!! Love the personality and the art style this game has!!!

Developer

Yippee thanks!!!

This is crazy good on all fronts. There is one small bug where I could place bombs in my room but thats it. Amazing.

I really hope no marketing firm plays this game and discovers placing multiple X buttons you have to click in sequence.

Such a creative Idea and very good use of sound and visuals to give a feeling of overstimulation. I would have never thoughts of ads as a parasite, but I guess that shows how pervasive they've become. The final level is a bit infuriating though, it took me like half an hour to beat.

This is such a fun and creative game.  The split between turning off your chip to roaming around your room brought so much personality as well. The humor was great too. Absolute cinema. I wanted a break from the ads. Well done I love this!

The amount of polish in this game is absolutely wild! I love how creative the artwork is. And not just the hilarious ads, but a lot of the other little details too (I laughed so hard at the “B2 + S9” poster lol).

The gameplay itself is a ton of fun too. Having breaks from the ads to walk around your room is not only super charming, but paces the game very well.

You also took the parasite theme and spun it into something unique. I don’t even know what else to say other than that you guys did amazingly!

UNREAL amount of visual polish for a 48-hour game jam. You hit the frustrating aspect of ads in the gameplay on the head. Wonderful job!

Honestly crazy this was made in 48 hours, it totally feels like a finished game with an awesome amount of polish. Congrats guys!!

I. Love. This. Game. I would buy it, If I had no money - I'd pirate it. Gotta agree with the Aniket guy, Ventsune Viku is life.

I really loved the game play, I wish there were more objects to interact with :))) Big thanks for making something goofy to play but is really bothers you when you think about all the tiny details.

Ventsune Viku is love, Ventsune Viku is life.

Jokes aside, amazing game! Very fresh take on the theme, gameplay made me rage almost every other second (as intended). The music and art beautifully added to the overall vibe. Perfectly scoped for a 48-hour jam, great job team!
