Super trippy art, love the vibe. Beat it in 9 seconds!

Very cute game, love the pixel art style, and a fun concept. I really enjoyed it, but was disappointed (though I completely understand given the time constraint!) in how few card options there were - I felt as though I couldn't really get far with the options available. But I'd love to see a future version of this if you continue to work on it, I feel like this is a great concept that could definitely be worked with further!
Visually stunning, great music. Will say that whistle sound effect does get annoying after a while haha. Didn't have time to play through much of the story but it's a funny idea. Great job!
A little more feedback during gameplay might be nice- I agree with what others said, it was confusing at first why I was winning, even knowing the cards left was the enemy counter (i think a few times i won when it said 9, or sometimes the enemy drew multiple cards? it was confusing), and also when the enemy played a card it was a bit sudden. Also, I know it might mess with the aesthetic and make it more like UNO, but having different colors for the different letters really might help, I had a little trouble just deciding what cards could be played or not. Maybe just me though.
All that being said, what a cool game, can't believe it got done for a jam!
Really fun vampire-survivors-alike! As others said, I would change the background eyesore and right-click for select was super unintuitive (I'm sure there are ways to workaround whatever made you choose that). I also think it could get harder faster, as being overpowered can get boring :)
But great work!!
Nice little game! I find the controls quite hard but I'm sure I just need to practice more. Not sure if you're going to return to this project at all, but one thing I noticed is that the first time I hit the ground and the first time I hit a bomb, there was a lot of lag, presumably from loading textures or something.
The head dropping mechanic is really interesting! I don't think that I've seen anything like that before. My one critique would be that the character moves really fast which makes it hard to control, but I guess that's not a bad thing if you want it to be very difficult. The art and concept are great, good job.
