Super trippy art, love the vibe. Beat it in 9 seconds!

Love me a number-go-up game! Addictive. I was a little disappointed when it ended! I got a "Nothing of Note" outcome. The idea of having to do chores to keep playing a clicker game is funny, though there were a few glitches in those minigames. Great job

I love the graphics of this game! It looks very clean and polished for being made with so few time. I like the idea of using this concept to make puzzles, but personally found it a little difficult to play (maybe because I'm not using a mouse, only touchpad and keyboard) so didn't get far.

I love the vibes and concept behind this game! I will say it was a little difficult for me to figure out what was happening and what I was supposed to do as the player, but I'm sure with more time to work on UI/player feedback would help

Very cute game, love the pixel art style, and a fun concept. I really enjoyed it, but was disappointed (though I completely understand given the time constraint!) in how few card options there were - I felt as though I couldn't really get far with the options available. But I'd love to see a future version of this if you continue to work on it, I feel like this is a great concept that could definitely be worked with further!

The art is so cute! It was difficult for me to play effectively without a mouse (using touchpad) but  I did pretty good only using one of the character's hands. Delightful idea and execution

cooked 👏👏

Honestly crazy this was made in 48 hours, it totally feels like a finished game with an awesome amount of polish. Congrats guys!!

Visually stunning, great music. Will say that whistle sound effect does get annoying after a while haha. Didn't have time to play through much of the story but it's a funny idea. Great job!

A little more feedback during gameplay might be nice- I agree with what others said, it was confusing at first why I was winning, even knowing the cards left was the enemy counter (i think a few times i won when it said 9, or sometimes the enemy drew multiple cards? it was confusing), and also when the enemy played a card it was a bit sudden. Also, I know it might mess with the aesthetic and make it more like UNO, but having different colors for the different letters really might help, I had a little trouble just deciding what cards could be played or not. Maybe just me though.

All that being said, what a cool game, can't believe it got done for a jam!

Yep, unfortunately we  weren't able to fix that one. Sorry!

Very cool concept and man is that weapon satisfying. Biggest complaint is how hard to move around it is- the super tight jump can be satisfying, but as is, I just can't navigate those platforms because I only go up and down, not sideways.

Cute and funny. Instructions were a little hard to read though :)

Beautiful artwork. Like others have said though, you certainly don't feel overpowered moving slowly and having to hit monsters many times to kill them. Also, it could really use some damage feedback for the enemies and some music for that cool intro! Seriously, good work though.

Very cool idea! My main complaint is that I got too much information all at once. That intro kind of turned me off from the game. But the artwork is lovely and I love a good potion making game :)

Cool game! Feels satisfying. Some little things that could take it to the next level- something other than a white background, some bg music, and not having to put your name in to continue!

Really fun vampire-survivors-alike! As others said, I would change the background eyesore and right-click for select was super unintuitive (I'm sure there are ways to workaround whatever made you choose that). I also think it could get harder faster, as being overpowered can get boring :)

But great work!!

Very cool idea. Took me a really long time to figure out how to play though and I think I broke it a few times 😅

Super cute! It was a little too much for me though- as soon as I started I immediately forgot the controls for skate boss. Maybe adding tooltips in the game would help?

yeah great music, thats super impressive!

very cool game! the graphics were great, my only complaint is the text is a little hard to read (for a while i really thought the "z" in instructions was a 2!

this was really fun!! very hard though, which can be fun, but I think you need a little more leeway for picking up the batteries.

Really glad you liked it! Yeah we were going to spend our entire last day doing that but man we just got burnt out and couldn't do it. We'll be coming back to it though!

Glad you liked it! So sorry you ran into a bug, we had all the way up to the boss completed but it seems like a few people got stuck after the fourth or so battle. We'll definitely be coming back to this because we have a lot of ideas so we'll make sure to fix that.

Really cool idea, but man it was a little hard to get the hang of 😅 the first time, I somehow moved into the same tile as the enemy and then just died before I could do anything... that being said really good job given it being a jam submission! I loved the concept!

Ack, apparently that happened to someone else as well. I'm sorry to hear about the bug and we'll try to fix that when we go back to it, but thanks for playing!

Nice work! Was fun to play, just wish there was a little more feedback with things like getting hit (it was also tell when my health was at full to not waste a health pickup?). Also, sometimes I would get three of the same upgrade. But good job on what you got done!

Really lovely game! The sounds and art definitely made it feel like a finished game. My only complaints would be that the grey(?) and green mushrooms are hard to tell apart, and the small game window size definitely made my eyes strain a bit. But good job, quite fun!

Nice little game! I find the controls quite hard but I'm sure I just need to practice more. Not sure if you're going to return to this project at all, but one thing I noticed is that the first time I hit the ground and the first time I hit a bomb, there was a lot of lag, presumably from loading textures or something.

Absolutely adorable! It was a little too hard for me 😅 but the plot is fun and I definitely see the potential with the platformer.

Wasn't clear what to do so I didn't get too far but it has a lot of potential! If I could give one piece of feedback, I'd say it feels strange that the enemies come in at diagonals but we are only able to move/attack in four directions, but maybe that's just me.

I'm sorry to hear that. It is a larger game so we'll probably change it to a downloadable form in the future

Thanks :)

Thank you, and noted! It was hard to tell how fast it should go after I had been messing with the timing for too long haha

I'm sorry to hear about that! That's not a bug that we encountered while playtesting (it seems like it doesn't happen most of the time) but hopefully we can fix that in a later version. I'm glad you enjoyed it anyways!

Thank you!

I love your artwork! I'm impressed you were able to make all of it in this timeframe. Wonderful art and story. I got a bad ending :( what a sad story

I actually had so much fun with this game! It's my favorite of the submissions I've played so far. The art is top notch and the concept is interesting. Plus, it plays super smoothly. Wonderful job!

The head dropping mechanic is really interesting! I don't think that I've seen anything like that before. My one critique would be that the character moves really fast which makes it hard to control, but I guess that's not a bad thing if you want it to be very difficult. The art and concept are great, good job.

Very cute and plays well. Theme is a bit disturbing but original haha

Very cute game. More difficult than it seems

You did a great job with the spooky atmosphere! Very creepy. It was a little confusing at first but the art and music are on point.
