I love how cute the little 3D models are haha. I'm not very good at this type of game but I had a lot of fun playing it (I kept losing at level 4,,,,,,).
Thanks! I admit I made level 4 and even I sometimes zoned out during testing and forgot to leave a guy alive lol
Very fun. I love this style puzzle game. I played it all and am impressed with all the content you made within two days.
Thank you!
The 3D first person game design is so interesting! The game play was also really smooth. I had a lot of fun with it. It was a bit too hard for me though...but I also kinda suck at this type of games.
Thanks! We couldn't decide between action, strategy, or puzzle so we chose them all haha. If there are any levels that feel too hard you can skip with "\" or check out the level select screen!
The level design here is really nice, with a great variety as well! I liked how you designed the UI/UX, allowing the player to first view the entire room from above, then choosing which human to infect. I especially like the mask mechanic, where you must first remove the mask before infecting them. This means only hitting some humans once so that you can infect them later, forcing you to think ahead which I love.
I think it would've been nice if infected humans could walk through doors once another human opens it (but doesn't close it yet), because, well, the door's open! Also, having to wait around before infecting someone is a bit tedious. Maybe this could be adjusted by allowing the player to "fast-forward" the game? Or designing the levels in a way where the player doesn't have to wait too long.
Otherwise, this is a really great submission with a slew of levels! Great job!
Thanks for the feedback! The fast-forward idea is a good suggestion.
Glad you liked it! I originally planned open doors to be passable but I was scared that there was potential for them to push players out of bounds when closing haha. If we had another go at this game I'd def want to make the doors a bit more flexible.
I really love the mechanics of picking a character and I'm stunned that there were 24 levels. The puzzle elements are really well thought out and the animations are really fun to see.
Thanks! The animations were very last second so I'm glad we were able to get them in!
I love the graphics of this game! It looks very clean and polished for being made with so few time. I like the idea of using this concept to make puzzles, but personally found it a little difficult to play (maybe because I'm not using a mouse, only touchpad and keyboard) so didn't get far.
Thanks! It's def geared to mouse + keyboard, I'd like to explore adding gamepad and potentially keyboard-only support in the future.
I'm impressed at how you all were able to make 24 polished levels in 2 days. The creativity with the puzzle design is really good, and I like how for some of the puzzles I was able to find an optimized solution where I didn't use all the parasites.
Thank you!
Genuinely shocking how much you were able to accomplish in such a small amount of time. Really reminds me of those old armor games I used to play, getting me all Anton Ego choked up here. I would love to see a full version with more parasites that combo into one another some day.
Thanks Patrick! We had a lot of parasite ideas that we didn't get time to implement, I'd definitely be down to explore them in the future.
I'm very impressed by this one. It looks very professionally made! Great job!
Thanks!
The art style is really polished and cohesive and the gameplay loop is very strong and expansive. Extremely impressed with the amount of levels you guys were able to make. Love it!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
