It's a good idea. Perhaps a shovel would be more appropriate than a sword for clearing snow. I hope you'll have time to develop the game after the jam.
Yeah, totally agree with you!
Very relaxing and cozy game. I think the music could have been a bit more cozy to fit the theme better but overall great job!
Agree with you!
I haven't had so much time to recognize a better music to fit the theme (I liked the one that I used :P ) but you are right about this!
Thank s for playing!
a nice simple little game, you just swing sword around to clear grass until all of them is gone.
I think tutorial flies by too fast, I think should've stayed until you pressed 1
The the background art is probably AI generated, but at least you tried adding light to make it a little more dynamic.
The music.. doesn't really fit with the game. but it sounded fine by itself.
You are right, it's a little bit too complex let the player press a specific button in that way.
Thanks for your feedback!
The graphics were very nice and fit the vibe and the over all story presented very well. I did like that the game was auto attack.
I didn’t understand the point of the coins, however. I didn’t see a use for them (perhaps other than simple raw score) and the dash seemed unneeded over all.
It was also a shame that there didn’t seem to be an actual win state. That is to say, the game did say that I completed the shoveling (so, the game knew I finished), but the game just stayed in the game world having the character continue to swing the sword. The timer, as well, seemed to just die.
Also, the music was very loud (for me) when the game started, and I didn’t notice any form of audio controls until about when I finished the game. I also noticed those controls were only accessible once the player was in the game itself (at least, I didn’t see a way to access those controls from the title screen).
Over all, for a game made in a few hours, I think it was pretty solid, except for a couple little gripes. Well done!
If you’re interested in seeing this rando play I played on stream recently.
Thank you for your feedback!
Yes, you are right, there are some missing part that could have improved the whole experience. I will update it.
About the sound, actually, your feedback is right. I could have implemented the "Escape" button to open the menu to set the audio.
Thanks for playing!
Simple fun game. Thank you for making it an auto-attack, really simplified things.
Yes, the idea was to have a porting on smartphones... maybe :O
Good cozy christmas vibe. The UI could use some work. The gameplay is nice. Nice job.
Thanks :D
This is great, really nice use of assets. Everything pulls together into a nice scene that looks very Christmassy. The dash and sword moves felt good too. Great job on this!
Thank you!
I'm still learning the secrets of pixel art and I appreciate that you liked the results :)
Nice game and sound effects!
Thank you!
I think that the sound (music included) is about a half part of the whole game :)
Hey, my neighbors are happy! :W cute little game, I liked it!
Thanks! I tried my best in a few hours, I appreciate these comments!
the art is so colorful and pretty! cute little game :)
Thank you! In the next days I will improve the game (there are some little issue with the camera) and add new levels!
