Nice idea, only bug i ran into was if you pick up a bulb while there's already a bulb on the table, you're kinda stuck.

Very cozy and relaxing game! My only issue is that the player was able to go outside of the border.

Developer

Do you mean the wood rafters? You’re able to walk under those.

The game is really cozy and satisfying. The gameplay is nice. I feel that the green spark is hard to discern from the yellow spark. And some time the spark would spawn behind the furnace pipe which I can't walk through. Really nice visual, it is pleasing to look at for the entire duration to the game. Great game.

Great concept! I really like the assembly process in this, it's very satisfying. Definitely in need of more interaction feedback like sound effects and a few more animations, though. I did also manage to softlock myself by picking up a second bulb with one already placed on the table. Overall, good job! :)

I love the concept here, and I think you're already more than half way there to create a great mysterious Christmassy atmosphere. Just a bit more audio and a few more visuals, and the vibe will be perfect. But I already really enjoyed it as is! Running around, slowly learning to optimize my production line and then feeling really good about myself once I got everything properly prepared and am able to create 4 lights in a row. I only really miss a bit of a challenge here. You could make it timebased, but I'd also love to see more 'difficult' recipes for special lights in which you kind of have to puzzle to gather everything needed, or something. Anyways, I really enjoyed playing and I loved it when the entire screen lit up with lights in the closing animation. Well done on making a cozy game that has me yearning for mystery!

Fun idea.  Even though you had very complete instructions, it still took me a minute to figure out what I was supposed to do.  But, my workshop is now covered in festive lights!

wasnt able to make a single light because gold fireflies didnt spawn in for me :(

Developer

Hi, sorry to hear that! I can’t think of anything that would allow for just gold sparks to not spawn. The green and gold light were a bit too close together, I suspect what happened was that some spawned that were gold but looked green.

I have strung the lights, and I am the greatest light maker the world has ever seen I will take my prize & praises now and also awesome idea lol. It was easy enough to get down, and for a cozy light making game, it got a little frantic at times! Trying to keep the jars and furnace ready, and trying to do that and make the glass/bulbs, and keep sand and coal stocked was quite the unexpected rush lmao. Great basis for what could be a challenging little tinker game, and a sweet cozy time either way :)

Complex but cute game!

Simple and good enough the design of the hints (one button to hide or show the rules). I liked it!

A lot of fun and  cute little game, it would be great to play with several people in the style of a Mario party mini-game, a little repetitive on the last few lights.

This looks really nice, and it's a cute concept. The process of making the bulbs is interesting and complex enough to feel good. Not knowing which colour you'll make next added some interestingness as well.

The layout felt very inefficient (though I guess that was deliberate?), and by bulb 6 or so, it started feeling a little bit tedious. But maybe if there were different tasks other than just making lights, that could be avoided / mitigated?

played till the end -  i liked the added challenge of catching the glowing particles ahead of time to be ready for when that color came up! also nice that the coal burned for more than just one cycle of glass creation.

Solid entry, i like the clean artstyle. I also got to the animation :)
