You're right, for the first 4-moves level, you should indeed start with a movement to the left...

Thanks for your comment and your encouragement :)

Very fun and well designed! I really liked the balance between challenge and risk-taking. Plus, the visuals and pacing of the game made it even more satisfying. An excellent piece of work!

Really enjoyed the twist on puzzle mechanics,  super original! Once it clicked, it felt super satisfying to solve. Great job :)

I liked the minimalistic presentation, it let the gameplay shine. Great work overall!

Really cool concept! I love how unique and unexpected everything feels — you never know what's coming next. It kept me curious the whole time. Great job!

Really fun concept, I had a great time playing!

The visuals are charming, and the core idea is super engaging. A few tweaks like better shadow alignment or a slightly more angled camera could make the gameplay even smoother.

Thanks for your comment. I wanted the actions to last one second each so that everything would be easier to manage, but I had to speed up the music slightly so that it would be in sync. I'm glad you noticed.

Great idea! The first time, I died in round 4, but I quickly got better. After a while, you start to realize that some powerful weapons are actually too dangerous for the following rounds...

Yeah, I see what you mean, I didn’t want to make too many stages during the rating period. I just wanted a few tutorial stages, then one or two more challenging ones. To explore the map before launching the character, you can hold down the left click and pan across the map with your mouse.

We had a fairly similar idea, but the execution is radically different. I really like what you did, it adds more depth to the gameplay.

Really beautiful! And my AZERTY keyboard thanks you for using only the common keys!

The idea is good and the execution is well done. The atmosphere is soothing, I like that.

We had exactly the same idea. But fortunately, the way we went about it is different :) Well done!

The game is really beautiful, and it has a bit of a retro-futuristic vibe that I really like.

The core idea is simple, but it works really well. Luckily, the cap is there to enrich the gameplay.

The game is beautiful, and the atmosphere is soothing. I had a bit of trouble on the 4th level :)

The game looks good, I haven't played enough to see the end of it but the gameplay is good and the countdown is well balanced.

I really like the aesthetic aspect of the game. The atmosphere is excellent.

Love this asset. I hope more will come soon with more characters, VFX and animations. Thanks for your work. :)

Thanks to everyone who played and rated Chaos and Concrete. I'm very happy to have won first place.

To be honest, I was very critical of my game, and there were so many good entries that I didn't think my game would stand out.

Thank you very much again.

It's a guilty pleasure to break cars. The music is well chosen and perfect for urban ambience.

I had a lot of trouble aiming at the other car. But this automotive jousting is great fun.

Even if you didn't have time to finish your game, the basic idea is good. And you don't see many games designed for mobile first.

Good game. You've made some good choices and the pathfinding of the police cars is very good.

I'm aware that the aim of the game isn't very clear :/

You have to kill enemies to earn points. You can kill them in 2 ways, either by running them over (but you lose a bit of life in the process) or by shooting them.

Thanks for your comment!

It's a good idea. Perhaps a shovel would be more appropriate than a sword for clearing snow. I hope you'll have time to develop the game after the jam.

The game works well and the idea is really good. I can't wait to see how it turns out if you have time to improve it afterwards .

it's a little hard to get over the fence, but the game is really pretty and cute.

I like this winter tower defense.
I hope you'll have the time and inclination to improve it afterwards :)

Hello, I used this asset pack in my game "Warm drinks for freezing winter", as part of the "Cozy Winter Jam 2023".
This is exactly what I needed!

Hello, I used this asset pack in my game "Warm drinks for freezing winter", as part of the "Cozy Winter Jam 2023". Love these sprites!

The mechanics of the snowman, who gets bigger by accumulating snow but has to let go of it to get through, work well. Bravo

The best game I've tested so far. Bravo, the gameplay is really well polished.

Great game! The music is perfectly adapted and the visuals are very good. Very nice.

The game is really beautiful. And the music gives it that cozy ambience that makes it so much fun to play.

If you try to play alone, you'll need to master your keyboard, but it works! The theme is well respected. Well done!

The game works well and the idea is a good one! If you have time to improve it later, perhaps you could add the possibility of centering the camera on the intermediate position between the two characters. The theme is well respected, bravo :)

Indeed, if you can't lose, it's very difficult to win. But there's an easy mode in the options that can help ;)

The hitboxes sometimes seem a little random, but this doesn't detract from the experience at all. The game respects the theme well and the N64 aesthetics are pleasing. well done!

I love the idea. I hope you'll have time to refine the controls and add 3D models to put in the ball. It fits the theme perfectly!
