Very VERY pleasant experience! Movement is smooth art is nice music chill everything works together. The only negative thing that I can tell is that one jump on the last level is slightly too much to the left and you can't make it in one bounce.
This felt like a complete game, really well done!
The only feedback I have is that the background moved too quickly for me so that was a bit disorientating/dizzying at times. But I see no-one else had this problem so It might just be me XD
I really enjoyed playing it, and would love to see a bigger version of this game!
This was super cute and fun! The levels were well designed and had a nice little difficulty curve, and the spritework and effects create a great atmosphere. Overall, everything just felt really complete. If I had to give any criticism that I haven't seen anybody mention, some of the jumps feel kind of precise when they don't need to be. There were 2 or 3 spots in the earlier levels or at the way beginning of a later level where you had to use your max jump height to get up on one platform when most platformers usually save that for later in a game. That's really just a nitpick though, I still absolutely loved playing this from start to finish.
I love the transition animation between scenes
And the wall climbing mechanic too, it porbably wasn't easy to program
Also, Godot engine! high five!
tho i think you forgot to disable local coords on the particles
What a lovely little game this was :) What stood out to me is that everything felt so polished. The mechanics worked well and levels seemed well thought out. Only thing I was wondering is if it would be easier to control the squirrel while wall-running if the controls were flipped while doing that? So normal mode will just use <- and -> but wallrun mode will use ^ and v, plus being able to jump off with <- or ->? I think that's how Ori and the Blind Forest did it and it felt quite good. The animations feel fantastic! Very cute and minimal, but there's still a good amount of detail everywhere (leaves blowing, leaves flying up when jumping/running, etc. Loved the ending as well. Good job on making this game and thanks so much for participating!
Finished it! I really enjoyed it. The hearts at the end is really nice little thing.
Very fun! Climbing mechanic was kinda difficult to get, but I couldn't put it down until I finished it!
Great presentation and overall feel, Love the blowing leaves transition.
