Wow What a game loop! Couldn't stop playing this! Wickedly simple gameplay, the story and cutscene music kept me going. Very cozy, very satisfying! Great job!
This was so cute! I would love to see more done with it :)
from a pianist perspective, it's really hard to hit *q76jeyrftuwy* when I know exactly what the notes are haha, but a fun game in general.
As other people already mentioned, it's very annoying to play on a QWERTZ keyboard. Apart from that, a very nice idea!
I've been wanting to improve my note reading for quite a while and this was quite a "just do it already" kinda moment for me haha. I have had some troubles with the controls. Would've been nice to see on the screen which piano keys are assigned to which on the keyboard. Also, a QWERTZ-keyboard support (German keyboard layout) would be nice, because like this I'd always had to press Y which is switched with the English Z in positions.
Good stuff. Thanks for reminding me I suck at sight reading haha. But for real, I enjoyed it. It was a bit frustrating remembering which keys corresponded to which note. One way to improve this would have been to have the letters on the keyboard written out on the piano.
I loved the concept and minimalistic style of the game! Playing on the piano was a little bit tricky, but overall pretty intuitive (speaking as a something-of-a-musician-myself :D ). The story was simple and touching, but I lacked a deeper connection between actual gameplay and characters. I think it might be very cool to think this through and create much more meaningful gameplay, since it's very exiting idea to try and tell the story outside of obvious arts and visuals.
For example, I would really like to play the whole Luna's Song in the end by myself :)
Thank you for the game <3
I really loved this! I never played piano on a keyboard before and it was cool and makes me miss my music days. Also loved the story, when he said "You say mean things about your wife befind her back" i was like :0
loved the concept would like to see more and also make it more accessible for people who cant read music
Yeah. I actually wanted to include line and space highlighting when you press keys but didn't get time to implement it. I'll probably update the game when the jam is over.
It's been a while since I've read sheet music so this game was really testing me. A cute and fun submission with a unique story progression. Great music as well.
Creative although i am terrible at reading notes the tutorial helped. Great Job
