  • The game looks great and the concept is pretty neat! I think the difficulty could've started lower and ramped more; the health bar seemed to not do anything as any monster touching the elevator ended the game. Cool concept and could just use some more polish! --- 30/40

Fun submission. I could see play this as a fun way to kill time. Maybe even as a mobile app? I like these games where you have to control two players are once, I think they are challenging but fun.  I also love pixel art. It is very nice. The music was also nice.

My feedback is just things to polish notes. Firstly, once your platform breaks I would like it if you just got a game over screen instead of the guys having to fall. It would be fine other than sometimes you land on small floating platforms when you lose yours which I think conveys the wrong idea. Also, the first time I played I think the platform was breaking in one hit. But I just played again and the health bar worked. Might have just been a bug but I am still a little confused about the health system.

Anyway, fun little submission, and I wish you luck in future game development!

I believe this is meant to be a 2 player game but I was able to play by myself for an extra challenge so nice! I thought using a tether between the two players to defend the platform was a creative take on the connection theme. I wished challenge would progress faster, but again, I was not playing with someone else. I think there could more obstacles that attempt to break the connect and force players position themselves is more interesting ways. I also wasn't sure why the platform keep disappearing. The game felt polished to me and the art and sounds were great.

Control 2 characters at once? With an interesting core mechanic? Sign me tf up. Really enjoyed my time with this one, reminds of a classic Nitrome game. Check the site out if you haven't, it's a great inspo: https://www.nitrome.com/

For feedback, definitely what my man Carsen wrote, since there were a couple of instances where a bat would spawn on top of a laser-disabling block.

Very polished visuals and sounds! The gameplay is a cool concept, and gives a fun challenge when trying to play alone, but (unless maybe I was missing something?) I think some of the enemy/obstacle generation gives some impossible scenarios to get out of. For example, more than once I had one of the big laser disabling platforms coming down and an enemy flies right through it and kills me, leaving me no way to stop it. Also I think the heath system is bugged? It says I have 3 hearts but I die when one enemy hits the platform.

I think with some extra work this would be pretty fun!

super cool graphics and sounds! the gameplay itself is a bit rough in my opinion tho :)

This game is so appealing! The visuals, sound and music really get me pumped!
I just wish I were better at playing solo. I can't wrap my head around two characters at the same time haha.

Really well done here!

Really fun already game, super polished! I could really see this as a mobile game where you control each character with a thumb. Great work! Keep it up!

I really enjoyed this! Graphics are really nice, it's a simple concept and it works really well. The counter doesn't reset upon starting over, but that's really a minor gripe for a solid entry.
