- I really fell in love with this game oddly enough. The movement is super satisfying and you can pick up some serious momentum, and I found it really funny that most games with a star system will let you pass a level with 0stars, but this one was like.. no. Too slow. Go back until you can at least get one measly little star. I know the art is objectively not amazing but it gave it a cute style. If you deck it out more you can have a really solid game here. -Juniper
- Im surprised at how smooth the controls were, the physics felt really good to blast around in. You can definitely do more with this mechanic and flesh out something else!
- The controls felt really good, and the star system was a smart way to add some replayability. I think there is room to add some additional mechanics to add some variety to the gameplay. But overall, great job!
How does the game fit into the theme?
It's a game in which you use a bazooka to go fast, and you get more stars based on how fast you go. This fits the theme of "KEEP MOVING FORWARD" because you want to keep moving on a level to get better stars.
What premade assets did you use if any?

Hi, I'm hedge one of your judges! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in at 6:50:00 <3 (Part 2)
I watched it, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
It was short isn't :P
Very fun, a very interesting concept.
Although the time system adds replayability, I was left wanting to see a few more levels.
On the other hand, the art and music are very good, especially the building destruction, haha, a very fun detail.
Good work! :D
Thanks! A lot of people have been saying I should add more levels, and that makes me really happy. I wish I had added a few more.
<3
Simple and funny, that's what I should have seen, 10/10
Thanks! Yes, I wanted to make games like that, I'm glad you like it!
I really loved how the world can be destroyed with the bazooka and really enjoyed the mechanics of the game overall. Really nice concept and it has a nice hook to it making you wanna complete it! Good job!
Thanks for checking my game out!
cool destructibility of the world, interesting mechanics!
Thanks!
very interesting game and the rocket jump mechanic was perfect
THankks!
Interesting rocket jump mechanic in 2D games. I think that with more features and level interactions, this could become a nice and fun speedrun game. The graphics are simple, and while I can't say that Ilike them, I was surprised that buildings could be destroyed, making it a fun thing to play. I think these mechanics should be included.
The music doesn't match the graphics, as they're both 8-bit, but that's my opinion. And I'm unsure about the theme. It's kinda it, but not really. It's neither fish nor meat, as we say in my country. So, your game could be addictive, if you understand the mechanics. Or it could be casual, just for fun. You did a good job, so never give up and let's do more games)!
THANKSS for the comments! For the music and SFX, I'm not really good at them so I chose something easy, but in the future, I'll try more fitting for sure. I'll look more into how I could implement more features with the building and how they could be introduced, I think they're really cool ideas!
Anyway thanks for playing and for such an elaborate comments <3
ah this is so good for how short it is!! The intractable environment adds so much to this. I hope you make some more challenging levels after this because i can think of so much you could do with this haha, have enemy bazookas that come after the player and the player has to destroy them with their bazooka before they get hit, and exploding barrels that the player has to avoid exploding or they could get caught in the blast, lava pits that the player has to clear with big jumps... I'd make this game too difficult lol. Great submission I enjoyed this
Wow, thanks man, for such elaborate comments and a cheerful one!
Yes, I will continue to add more levels and more ideas, your ideas are creative and I might consider them, especially the exploding barrel.
I avoid having things that can kill the player because I wanted you to feel the SPEEED of the game and you can set your difficulty for yourself by how many stars you want. So things like jumping over a huge lava gap might just be jumping over a large gap. Many people suggest adding things that would kill the player, and I'm curious to know your thoughts on my idea.
Anyway thanks for playing and such kind words, it really makes my day!
This is so fun to play honestly, I would've played this for hours if there were more levels.
Thank you! I will definitely make more levels in the future! (I said this multiple times on my dis-continued work, but this time)
Very fun core gameplay! I loved how the explosions interacted with the surrounding objects.
Thanks! Yes, I also love how the explosion interacts with the background, I wanted the player to feel just the power of the explosion.
I love this game honestly - the main mechanic feels super polished, and I was very engaged because of the time limits on each level. The fact that the buildings break and the grass gets thrown around is amazing imo, really makes the game just that more enjoyable. I if you added a few more levels and maybe like spikes or something that you have to avoid, it would be very cool. The graphics are obviously not triple-A but they do their job. Same with the sound. Overall, great game.
Wow, thanks for such an elaborate comment! I didn't make more levels due to limited time but upon hearing this I would make more levels in the future. Again, thanks for such a positive feedback.
