  • I like the idea of making a puzzle game and I think it works really well. My only issue is that it isn’t always very clear what you need to do, which can occasionally make the puzzles feel more frustrating than interesting. For example, some of the objects you need to interact with, like the boats, aren’t connected to the path which can make them seem more like decorations rather than a path for the player to take. But other than that, I think this is a really solid game with a great concept.
  • Puzzles were a bit unforgiving. It was painful to have to restart from the beginning each time.
  • Serene vibes, great sound design, definitely made the experience peaceful and calm which fit the speed of the character and general lack of urgency. Could have benefitted from a gameplay perspective by making things move faster, but I don't think that was the intention, so I can appreciate it! Bigger signs would've been nicer.

How does the game fit into the theme?
You can't go back so... you need to keep moving forward!

What premade assets did you use if any?
Most of the graphics are from Kenney.nl, sounds are all CC0 modified by me

Jam Judge(+1)

Hi, I'm hedge one of your judges! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in at 6:30:00 <3 (Part 2)

It looks simple and beautiful. It took me a while to realize that I needed to take something and change it.

Really really good this one, genuinely enjoyed it.  I think the puzzles became a bit too hard too quick, maybe add the ability to back track a single tile as it was frustrating to miss press and get stuck and have to restart it.  When introducing a new mechanic, create a really easy level that hand holds the player through it so they know how it works.  Lots of great post jam potential, great job.

The is relaxing, but there should be a text that should say something like find the way to this place as this would allow player to know what the puzzle is, I spent first couple of minutes just finding what the puzzle is.

Loved the puzzle!

The restart button is your friend! Also make sure to read the signs!!! Overall this is a great entry that requires brain power, loved the puzzles and the game fits the theme extremely well. Keep up the good work!

Nice take on the theme, got stuck a couple times but still very cool!

A cool take on the theme, with a good amount of polish and interesting puzzles that had me pretty hooked. I love the music and the relaxing atmosphere, the graphics go well with the game. The only thing I would suggest is adding a little tutorial, because I did not at first realise that you had to hover over with the mouse on the objects you want to interact with - maybe replace E with LMB? Anyway that is minor, this is a great game, deserves many ratings.

As a puzzle game it works very well, I think the idea is expandable and you can create several levels.

The only thing that bothered me a little at first was the character's movement, which I couldn't tell was by squares, I thought it was free.

But for everything else it's a very good job! :D

The game is impeccable, simple but beautiful graphics, puzzles that force the mind to work, you have a great future in level design, congratulations!! But I noticed a bug, the second level loops, you pass it and are transported to it again.

NOTE: if you could see my game that I made for this jam it would help a lot, it is just a prototype, but I think you will like it!
