Really interesting concept combined with great graphics and sound. I couldn't figure out how to use my num keys on my laptop (it has the alternate function to use them but for some reason it wasn't working) but by the looks of it you created a very unique game. Nice work on this one!
Thanks a lot for the feedback guys!
Yeah we did realize that the tutorial was a bit unclear after publishing, that's why we added explanations on this page (still not very happy about it tho). As it is our first jam we still have a lot of lessons to learn in game design! Cheers to my comrade Ben for the art style, he did most of it ;)
Dang, I think the tutorial needed to be a lot more clear. I didn't realize that the arrows corresponded to the number pad, and was pretty confused as to what I actually had to do.
When it all clicked, I had no trouble. It was just pretty confusing.
Also, I liked the attic door distraction, heh.
When the tutorial says "Ok dude, it's time to do your magic", are you supposed to do something in the tutorial or exit back to the menu? I first got the impression I had to press the spacebar and then the tutorial would continue, but this did nothing. I was able to open and close the drawers in the first level, but I wasn't able to figure out how to continue. The spacebar did nothing. For polish it's good to have an exit button in the menu or to respond to the escape key. The art style is rather nice.
This game was a bit challenging at first. I didn't understand that whatever i touched would draw the attention away. I was just pushing buttons trying to figure out how to place the pieces in the room. I finally understood and made it to level 3. Nice work and your style was pretty great.
