How does your game fit the theme?
The main mechanic of the game is the looping drum beat. Every time the beat ends, it repeats itself with one new note added in. You then have to dodge all the oncoming beats and last as long as possible.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all the code was typed up by me in the past week, and all the art was also designed by me.
The audio files were taken from free sound effect websites for drum kits. The songs used were either made by myself in the past, or given permission to use by the artist.

Very cool game but it just felt a little to hard but this game has a lot of potential!

It was a bit hard for me, there wasn't much time to react to incoming beats.

Everything works and looks nice tho well done!!

Developer

Yeah it is quite difficult, but hope you still liked it!

Fun game! I was confused about whether I had to jump over everything, or just the red beats.

Developer

All the beats except green ones you needed to dodge.

I should've had a more obvious tutorial, but just ran out of time

Nicely done.

good concept and interesting gameplay, but the beat sounded wonky at times. did you use grageband for this?

Developer

No, I just downloaded some drum sound effects. The timing works by a BeatGenerator script firing an event every semiquaver, which is picked up by any BeatObject in the scene. Each BeatObject has a number attached to it, which equals the beat in the bar it plays.

If it sounds wonky, it's probably to do with some lag or something like that.

I really liked this game! it was really addictive and i loved the graphics :D

The game was very unique, but i was kinda confused on which thinks hit me and which don't. Overall a very cool game!

Developer

The green orbs heal you, and the rest hit you (but the hitboxes are quite generous to you!)

Soz, I didn't make it that obvious, but it was in the 'How To Play' section.

Cool rythm game!! it is so nice how the lines connect with the beat allowing you to follow your next move, the idea of having a health bar made it better for me,  the music is neat and the graphics look very good.  Great job!

Really well thought, liked the movement of the character. But songs were really hard to keep up to.

Nice rhythm game.  I seem to have rhythm timing that synchs up with hitting everything...but that's not an issue with the game.  Since you can move left and right I was trying to find a spot where the dots better timed up with the music so I could keep better rhythm.  Even though I was splatter into a lot of dots, I seemed to dodge every green one...  I think it's nice that you have a fairly generous health bar and a way to heal (even if I reactively jumped over all of them).

Nice submission.

Quite fun, I'm very bad at it lol (though it also took me 3 tries to send this without having 3 copies of my comment so maybe i'm just bad in general)

I wish I could enjoy this more. On my larger monitor the speed at which the notes enter from the right and cross the screen makes me dizzy and nauseous. I am feeling dizzy writing this feedback now as a result. Game idea seems really cool though and I love rhythm games. Wish you could see more of the oncoming beatmap and thus the notes moved a bit slower because that would solve my issue (or a zoom level option).

Thanks for saying that, I'll try to add some visual options (maybe turning all the glowing off) to help with the dizziness. I'll see if I can add a small preview box too.
