I did the lighting, basically all of the lights were just Point Lights in Unity with various settings positioned at z = -1. The gun flash had its intensity modified by an animation. All the sprites we applied lighting to (which was basically all of them), had to have a Sprites > Diffuse material. Surprisingly easy once you know how to set it up.
