Neat little game, music was great, idea is great, only need some polishing. A background, or some extra visuals would be nice. A simple tutorial would be nice too. The gameplay was smooth and actually fun to figure out. Dont stop what you are doing :)

Thanks for the feedback!

I liked the Bg music, but i wanted a button to make the monologue text appear fast but not skip

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Great job! I liked the piano music and the concept is cool. I wish i could switch between characters with some hotkey, cause using mouse feels quite distracting in that context. Selecting the character is the only action mouse is used for, and then, to control it I need my both hands on the keyboard.

Developer

Just wondering, why would you need both hands if you only use wasd? Do you have a different keyboard layout than QWERTY? Thanks for the feedback

The answer is - i used arrows :) I don't know why, but, anyway, you allowed it :)

Developer

ahh I see. Yes, I used unity's horizontal input variable, which accounts for wasd and arrow keys. Thanks for the feedback!

I really like the theme interpretation as well as the music and art, my only issue is the movement is a little finicky and jumping is a little inconsistent, a lot of times I wouldn't jump high enough. Other than that, great job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, since I used rigidbody forces, if you're already moving, you can jump higher. Not intentional and didn't find a workaround. Sorry about that! Thanks for the feedback.

Good idea with character switching fits the theme. The game unfortunately has no sounds that make the gameplay more dynamic, good puzzles involving all the characters, but there was a moment where I was able to cheat, I do not know if that was intended. I like it.

Developer

Do you mean where you could glitch into the on/off platforms?

Level 5 it seems, getting all the characters, I immediately jumped into the portal through the bottom, bypassing the button

I love the glow effect on the vibrant colours! Do you mind rating mine when you get a chance?

Really good interpretation of the theme, solid visuals and some janky controls at times - but overall a really nice experience. Good work!

Developer

Yeah the controls were a bit weird when I was developing them. I didn't really know what kind of platforming I wanted to have. So I stuck with the first Rigidbody2D controller I wrote. Thanks for the feedback!

I like how you made the different players co operate with themselves as your thematic interpretation of the theme. It was really fun.

However I got stuck for a while in the beginning because I didn't know how to switch players. Amd when I got stuck in the pit with only one character left in the second level there was no game over screen so I just had to restart the level. Other than that tho it was a very good game. Keep it up! :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, looking back on it, I wish I added a tutorial xD. Everybody is bringing up how they wished there was a restart level button, but I didn't make it clear enough that 'R' is to restart. Thanks for the feedback!

Super fun game and mechanic, really captivating. Great job!

I think you could have made the tiles that turn off and on a bit more clear. Sometimes it's a bit confusing to know if I can pass through them or not.

And honestly in the beggining the bar above the player is not super clear I was sure if it was a timer or if it was the amount of characters I had to unlock because it does not start full.

And super small detail but maybe the music stays throughout the levels instead of reseting each time.

Thanks for the feedback! Towards the end of development, I tried to make the music continuous between scenes but couldn't figure out how. I also tried your game cuz it seemed similar in concept to mine. I really liked your game btw.

Of course, I understand it's a learning experience to us all :) Thank you for playing our game ^^

No problem!

Very nice game. Good level design. It would be nice to have a restart level button.

The Puzzles are very interesting, the mechanic is very Creative and the music creates a nice atmosphere but it would be nice to tell the Player on how to switch between Characters

I can push my friends into a wall 10/10

At the start I didn't really understand the controls. But after some time I understood it and instantly had fun great game!

A really nicely made puzzle platforming game with interesting visuals.  One thing I do find frustrating is the lack of explanations/tutorials in the controls, especially nowhere did it mentions you're meant to click on characters to swap to them.  Adding an indicator for which character you're controller especially after the anxiety bar disappears would be greatly appreciated.  Other than that, a very well-made game, nicely done!

Cool game and clever puzzles,  the sad thing is that some of the puzzles can be beaten by stacking on the platforms that disepier and appier, jumping and going to the place you want without folowing the puzzle also is very long for a game jam in my opinion. I would like a level menu so I don't have to start again if I want to take a brake

Cool idea,

I really like the puzzles and art.

The platforming could use some improvements and I'd rather be able to switch characters without clicking on them.

Also, I like the show dialogue being a feature for those who want to see the story but are not always there. (except if it was mandatory to click them I didn't try😂😂)

Maybe a checkbox at the beginning would be better.

Good job!

unfortunately i couldn't get past the first level, i tried to push the characters into the orb but they just fell down, and when i entered the orb the number went down to 2, but then i couldnt do anything, and pressing R did nothing as well. it looks pretty by the screenshots tho, im sure the puzzles are very well made and cool, but i just couldn't get to them
