In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player needs to fight off aliens that get more and more chaotic as time goes on (The restart button doesn't work because of a bug)

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made almost everything with my team and a few assets were imported from the unity asset store

Interesting idea and great audio. It is a little bit buggy but after further development it may be a great full game.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Nice art, cool enemies. The bullets are a bit slow.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Fun game, althought I think you should increase drop rate, cause I didn't have ammo after some time, and I would suggest you to add some kind of dash to the game to increase pacing B).

thanks for review , there are some balancing required in game and we will update it when jam is over :D

Fun top-down game, the art style, and the audio is nice. I lose all my ammo and don't know where to get some, also the restart button after dying does not work.

Developer

Thanks for playing! We are aware of the issues you mentioned and they will be fixed after the jam is over.

This game is full of nice details, love it!

The art style gave me big flash game vibes, and I'm a sucker for those :) plus the intro + tutorial is on of those nice details that make the experience much more enjoyable.

This game has personality, you should update the game page to give it more color! Really nice job :)

Developer

Thank you so much for the nice words! Not really sure how to change the game page, I'll look into that to see what I can do.

I liked the gameplay, and the fact that enemies react physically for the shots, and it slows them down, music was nice and sound as well suited the case.

From technical parts in the second attempt after choosing green gun I spawned with pink one on the level 2 so I guess somethings are llacking there (restart button didn't work actually as well) :P and as at first time I died due to small "cell" enemies  surrounded me and I couldnt shoot any at so close distance (melee attack would be nice here) at the second one I just didn't had more ammo drop than a single one on the begining so some tweaks would be needed.

Apart from that pretty nice game, I wasn't expecting just a wave shooter in here, as we start with some kind of "story introduction" and go for walk to make some discovery after a space crash yet after searching every corner I realised that only thing to do is shoot'em all :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! The reason why you start off with the same gun every time is because the other guns are too powerful to get at the start, you can get them if you last long enough (in this current build it is quite difficult though). We wanted to add more of an objective/ story mode but ran out of time. I am aware of the balancing issues and the restart button not working, and we will upload a fixed version with improvements after the jam is over.

Hey!

I really liked the theme and the gameplay. I also thought that the walk through tutorial was really cool, I love a good combination of story + tutorial when it's more than just a wall of text.

I wish that the computer was more ingrained in the main gameplay, especially because it stayed in the UI. I also think that some of the main menu transition animations could have been faster, I think if you sped them up it would feel a little bit less weird.

I had a lot of fun playing this game and think you did a great job :) Well done!

Developer

yes, we agree that some balancing is still required and we will do that once the jam is over, thanks for reviewing

Good submission, however some improvement points could be made! Video review: 1:10:00 Lost in Chaos

Developer

Thank you for including our game in your video, I will take into consideration the issues that you mentioned in the video and we will try to improve the game and fix those issues after the jam is over.

As far as top-down shooters go, it was pretty fun, although I suggest adding something to differentiate it from the many other top-down shooters that exist. Good job with the audio and graphics!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, I don't really know what we can do to differentiate it, I thought that the space setting and the enemies that get increasingly more difficult was enough, but maybe there could some other ways.

Very fun game! The difficulty scales well and it gets very intense! The only thing I'd change is the ammo/health drop ratio, I played for some minutes and only seen it drop once. And also some times the enemies would spawn right where I was.

Besides that and the restart button, awesome game! :D

Developer

Thank you for the nice comment! I agree that some balancing changes are needed, and we will make them after the jam is over.

Its very fun i like the pallete color and the music. When you have a lot of enemies following you and you dont have ammo you undertands the meaning of fear jajajajaj. its very underrated from mi opinion. Good job team :D.

Developer

Thank you so much!

Nice job!  At first  I thought the camera was a bit too zoomed in, and I still think it could be pulled back a bit, but I think it does a good job of keeping you on your toes.

Developer

Thanks for playing! The zoomed out camera was made mainly because many enemies can come from multiple directions, so we wanted the player to be aware of them before they get too close.

Submitted

Sorry, I meant that I felt like it shouldve been zoomed out even more, but after playing a bit more I think its fine
