In what way does your game fit the theme?
LOTS of ants, too many particles and Chaos of course

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Kinda. I made the art myself, particles and audio effects, I wrote all the code but most of it is edited from Youtube Tutorials and my brother Alexander Hampton did the voice lines. So I didn't download any asset packs or anything, just unity and some unity packages.

Not a bad beginnings of a top-down shooter. Weirdly the way the AI moved reminded me of an old arcade game called Gauntlet. Others have probably said so, but the player didn't always face and shoot in the direction of the mouse. A part from that, like the visuals and sound. I think maybe some music would have also added to it, but you already have way more than a lot of game jam games.

"Bugs are buggy" is such a great line :)

jokes aside, this game was pretty fun! the ability to shoot really fast and destroying tons of enemies was chaotic and enjoyable.

and the voice lines that you added were funny and added to the experience.

I was a bit unsure of the aiming mechanic where you can't aim while moving, it did force me to move differently, but most of the time not changing the direction worked as well, Maybe some different chasing patterns for the enemies would have made it harder.

Fun game. Loved the voice lines which added more flair to the game play. Interesting mechanic with not being able to aim while moving. Loved playing it.

Interesting mechanic and very nice graphics, really cool idea with the voice acting, you don't see that too often. The big downside are bugs (not the ants), but other than that it's a pretty enjoyable game.

Primary the camera not being centred on the character but a bit lower instead and the rotation of the character not aligning with the mouse position which made shooting a bit awkward. Those two were the most bothering ones.

I like the idea of adding tension to the game by requiring you to stay still for a bit. Funny voice acting too

Really cool take on the classic top-down shooter mechanic, I really liked the idea that you had to stay still and wait a bit before you could aim again, that added a lot of tension to the gameplay. I think there don't have to be that many particle effects though, although it does add to the theme. Overall, I definetely enjoyed it, good job!
