Good idea :) I hope you will continue on this game ^^
But some maps are too much big. There are too much blank space. Try to reduce that blank space :)

Thanks:)

Quite a unique game! I like the idea of where this is going. It it slow to play as other said and dying once takes forever (an auto-destruct button would be very handy in a game like this,) but with more polishing, this could be a really nice game!

I did not figure out a way to defeat the level right after the mini-boss though as there is seemingly no way to die without an auto-destruct button, but at this time of night when I played this, I think my brain is a little fried from the rest of my day xP

Really nice entry for the jam overall!

Thanks for the feedback and for rating:)

I think the idea is interesting, feels a bit slow and the font is hard to read, but in general good work

Thanks:)

The pacing felt a little slow as it took a while to die, but the main idea was pretty fun. The sound effects threaded the needle by not being too loud to over power the music be loud enough to give feedback.  The settings menu was a nice touch of polish that is rare in gamejams. Overall fun game despite the slow pacing. Good job.

Thanks fot the feedback!

Good job! Maybe try using TextMeshPro for the text, it might up the quality!

Please rate our game if you have the chance!

I think I did use TMPro for most of the text but thanks for the feedback anyway! :)

Nice game! Liked the idea and gfx. A few suggestions:

It would be nice to have a self destruct button or something. It was a bit frustrating to wait and see other guys beating you. If the purpose is to die, make it quick! =D

Camera feels a little strange sometimes... Maybe it works better if you stick it to the player.

Thanks for the suggestions:)

Cool and unique idea! Cute graphic and fun gameplay. I really enjoyed it :D

That was a very unique game, I don't think I've played something like this before.

As others mentioned, the font was stylized, but illegible. You might want to find something that's easier to read, or provide an option to change fonts in the settings menu.

The gameplay was really good, but I think that the slow pace and timers killed what would otherwise be a really cool experience, at least for me. Wait to be killed, grab a bullet, wait for the timer to reach zero. I'm not sure what was supposed to happen when the ghost timer ran out, but I often just disappeared and had to reset the level, no game over screen or anything.

If enemies moved faster and you died in one or two hits, I think that I would have played a lot farther. It's a really good game, but I'd love to see it sped up a bit more.

simple art style but great game

I liked the visual style, but the gameplay was a bit too slow for me to play further then level 2. I think by the low-paced gameplay, the chaos element did not really feel like chaos.

For a first solo project and making everything yourself, this is something you should be proud on :)

Positives:
- Visual style
- Gameplay was very ingenious, but more a puzzle game then a shooter

Negatives
- The UI text was horrible, do not use that again, especially on explanatory text :)

Thanks for the feed back! Sorry about the text, I didn't have much time to make it, but thanks alot for rating:)

Haha, no worries. To be honest, I really digged it, but it was just really hard to read any smaller descriptions.

Developer

Ok! Thank you so much for playing and rating my game! Good luck:)

Definitely a unique idea and can be an even more fun game if explored more on this idea. I enjoyed playing the game and loved the game mechanics like dying to get a bullet and then avoiding lights as ghost. This mechanic made both living and dead states feel important. Also I loved the attention to detail that is when player dies, enemies stop chasing you. This is something so small but when not implemented gives you a feeling on unfinished game and sometimes may annoy the players. A few nitpicks I have is that game play feels a bit slow especially for the chaos theme, and it took me a minute to figure out that the gray square in level 2 was actually a light source, so maybe some rework in art could make it look even better. Apart from that unique, fun game. I hope you expand this post jam in to a full web game.

Thanks for the feedback! Once the game jam has fineshed I will definately put in an updated versionwich hopelfully will be alot better:)

The mechanics and the idea is very great and interesting! I think the biggest criticism is that sometimes you have to wait quite a long time to be killed by the enemies. One time, I think, the game softlocked in level 2. But a restart fixed it.

The graphics are good, I think the sound gets a little annoying over time, but it's definitely good enough for a game jam.

Definitely worth a try.

A very interesting concept and polished game! It was just a bit tedious waiting for the enemy to kill me, other than that it was fun.

Well done! :D

Hi, Your game is really cool. Specially the design, loved them.

I'd love you to play mine. Its unique platformer and top-down blending. This is my first jam BTW.  Please check the gameplay, I bet you will love the challenge when you play by yourself.

Hi, Im is the developer for this game. there was suppost to be 15 levels in total with a final boss but I made a mistake and made level 6 impossible. i can't update it until the voting peroid finishes, but when it does, I'll put in the new updated versoin and put one for Mac to for anyone who deosn't have windows. Until then, I hope you enjoy the game so far!

This is unbelievebly well polished! It would have been cool to know what each of the bullets do before playing an entire level just to fuck the shooting up as well as having a simple pathfinder script for enemies so they find their way around corners to attack the player.

I really enjoyed this game though and it will be one of the games that I won't delete after rating!

Developer

Thanks for the feedbak, Ill try and add some of those suggestions in. Thanks for trying my game!
