I MORBED way to much to this.

A simple platformer with a chaotic twist. The movement was a bit messy, but the wall jumps helped correct it. I enjoyed stacking as many of the effects together as I could. The menu was a nice bit of polish, and the sounds fit the game well. Good job.

The pacing felt a little slow as it took a while to die, but the main idea was pretty fun. The sound effects threaded the needle by not being too loud to over power the music be loud enough to give feedback.  The settings menu was a nice touch of polish that is rare in gamejams. Overall fun game despite the slow pacing. Good job.

Other than the lagging caused by webGL and the "A" key not going backward, very impressive. The art is superb and the parallax effect was a nice touch of polish that you don't normally see in gamejams. One suggestion I have is to upload the standalone version as well if it doesn't run well. Overall, very impressive and fun. Good job.

I must say, this is a beautiful game.

I love how the player had agency in the amount of chaos, so it fit the theme perfectly. The polish of the game was great and the soundtrack added a nice contrast to the absurd chaos of the ball window. The only problem is that I found the font hard to read. Overall great game. Good job!

The dashing felt very smooth and crisp. I enjoyed right-clicking as fast as I could to just speed away from the crime scene and regroup. The hitboxes felt a little too generous as you could just stand still most of the time. The sound effects felt very satisfying, but I never found a need to jump. Overall fun game. Good job!

Other than the art cohesion problem from using art from many different styles and mixing them, Fun game. The timer made it so you had to get the gems in order to continue playing. The music you chose fit the game very well. The option to continue was great because it meant you didn't have to restart the whole thing. Overall, great game. The only thing holding it back is the art mixing. Good job!

The idea fits the theme very well. Trying to figure out what key right is by pressing every key on the keyboard is very chaotic. The only critique I can offer is that it would have been nice if the player's sprite remained flipped after you moved left and the music was a bit quiet. Overall fun game with a very chaotic control scheme. Good job!

For most of the game, I spent kiting the enemies. In the later levels, I had to cheese them by standing behind a rock. The soundtrack was enjoyable. The only thing it was lacking, was polish. Nevertheless, a good prototype.

The art is very impressive and the concept of keeping your emotional state together fits the theme in a very unique way. The sound design was also nice and subtle. Like others, found hopping between the islands inconsistent. Overall, a very nice unique game that fits the theme well. Good job.

The game is quite fun. With the coins disappearing quickly it adds a sense of risk and reward. I would have like to see you expand on the tether concept more. Maybe by having towers become more powerful if you are close to them. The tethers added more depth that made the game interesting even though tower defense games aren't my forte. Overall a fun game. Good job!

The idea behind this game was phenomenal. The artwork complemented the game very well. I think an idea that would have given the level layout more complexity could have been to have slight variations in some of the parallel worlds. For instance, having an extra platform in one of them. I am not sure if it would break the synchronization or not, but a bit of variance in the dimensions could go a long way.  Overall, this is an amazing game, especially since it was made in 48 hours and not to mention your first game jam. Good job!

Your interpretation of the theme is very unique. I never would have thought to use a power grid for Join together. But now that I see your project, I quite like the idea. The only thing that confused me was that houses didn't carry power between them but when you had a powerline on the other side it would. Overall a great puzzle game with a nice amount of polish. Good job.

The lighting was harsh on my eyes and the mirror walls made it hard to tell where to go.  Not sure if it is a bug, but it opened up steam VR.  I enjoyed the puzzle aspect of the flails.  Overall, I had an interesting experience full of surprises.

Very interesting idea, I have never seen laser puzzles where the laser could power each other up. with updated graphics, audio, and more levels I think this could make a great mobile game.

Thanks, I am glad you liked it. When one of the characters is locked behind a door the camera isn't supposed to follow them.  But when all the characters are free, sometimes the camera is too small to fit them all in the frame. This is because the camera is a pixel-perfect camera and I couldn't figure out how to change the zoom with it.

I was not expecting a rhythm game but I am glad I found one. I really enjoyed the graphics and the audio was on point. Overall good game.

Fun game, it fits the theme very well. The only problem that I experienced is that when trying to switch between objects sometimes it would just get stuck and not control anything. But with a bit of messing around with the reset and pressing q and e, I was able to finish the game. I have to admire the name because if I knew how to draw an ape I would have named my game apes together strong. Overall, I enjoyed the game.

Very good game. The puzzles were fun, the movement smooth, and everything worked. It fit the theme very well. And I have to admire the claw machine because I also used something similar in my submission.

(1 edit)

I love the art and general aesthetic of the game.  Making all the equipment rely on the torch is genius. The world design was also very well done. Overall, this is a tremendous submission to the game jam.

Cool concept. It fit the theme very well. Unfortunately, when the blue ball died the green ball got teleported out of bounds and I couldn't progress any further. The portion that I did play was fun though.
