really fun game! as other, I also broke the game by pressing shield when I was dying so it made me superman. After that it was easy hahaha. But I loved the art and the gameplay!

Lot a few times while learning the ropes,.. might be related but on my last death, i hit shield during the "dying" period.

Next game, when i hit shield, it stayed massive. my lives disappeared, but i carried on living. Killed the boss, did the portal, did the parents boss next, still are massive shield protecting me from dying (though hearts go down and shield time goes down).

So aside from that, nice game! Would have been nice for something more from the win portal, just to give a bit more player satisfaction.

Really cool and fun game

Very nice graphic and the knight bossfight was really hard with all those projectiles!

Very enjoyable game, the movement feels smooth and it is well balanced. During my playthrough, I encountered a bug. When you use your shield as the enemy bullet hits you on your last life you become immortal.

Very well polished and good game. I love how you kept the scope small and were able to present a complete product. Loved the flying flip flop thing in another level. Music, sound FX, explosions were great. A solid entry in my opinion. Best of luck for the rest of the jam.

Neat game with great visuals, reminded me lots of enter the gungeon. I did keep on pressing space to dodge roll which screwed me over a few times but I still kept on playing :)

Good work on the art style and audio. Although the skill floor of the game seems quite high. Having a few more levels that ease you into the swing of things might be beneficial. I like your use of the environment. Especially in your initial tutorial text and of course sing the exploding barrels against the bosses was quite fun. And as a minor nitpick some of the animations seemed slightly choppy. Overall, the game is very fun and engaging. Nice work :)
