This was a super interesting and fun take on the theme. I found it really difficult to figure out how the movement worked at first, so a more in depth tutorial would have been really useful. Once I figured it out though, I was able to get all the way through to the end. I ran into a few issues with magnets disappearing off the screen and also accidentally dropping the crates off of the platform I needed it on and having trouble getting it back up. I think adding a restart level button would have been really helpful in those cases.

All in all a great game and I had a lot of fun in the last room just messing around with the magnet mechanic! I would definitely play a polished full version of this game!

I enjoyed the mechanics at hand here! After I got my head around the controls, the puzzles felt very interesting and thought out. One improvement would be that you could have particle effects indicating whether you're attracting/repulsing, because I'd sometimes forget which was which while playing. Overall, this is a great game with a lot of potential, well done!

The magnetic mechanic is super unique, and you've made some creative puzzles with it. It was quite fun pushing objects around and jumping about once I got the hang of the attract and repel mechanic. The graphics are also nicely done and they fit the lab aesthetic pretty well.

You definitely need to add a tutorial that explains the attract/repel mechanic and how to maneuver with it. I had to look at the video to figure out how to beat the first level. I'd suggest adding even easier levels with some text that explains how to lift yourself up with the magnets. You should also add a restart button. I got trapped at the third level and had to reset the game. The jumping is also a little inconsistent - sometimes I'd jump and barely make it onto a ledge, then I'd try again and I'd make it on.

Overall though, it's a very unique take on the theme with great puzzles. I had fun playing through all of them and would've enjoyed seeing more levels. Great work!

So at first I felt like it wasn't working well. But then figured out he moves a lot better if you attract before you start the jump. Once I got that I really enjoyed it. The swaying movement of the character is nice and the art has a nice charm. Clever levels, particularly liked the one with 3 boxes. Would have liked to have seen more but I understand running out of time. I did as well. Well executed idea

Ah yeah I understand how that can feel weird at first, I'm glad you got the hang of it and started to enjoy it :D I had more levels planned but I spent too much time tweaking the arm physics :P Will probably add more to it and upload a new version later :D Thanks for the feedback!

I really want to play this game but for some reason it's not letting me click on start and every button I press is not doing anything to escape the main menu, am I doing something wrong?

The concept of the game and the way that fits with the theme of the Jam is awesome, and the puzzles are really great, I enjoyed the game a lot, the design of the robot and levels is great I like it a lot. Really good job! :D

Haha sorry, others have had trouble with that too :D You're supposed to get the magnet then jump back up to were you started, then get some speed and jump over while pulling yourself up towards the ceiling :D Should have made it easier to get back up.. :D

Nice game my dude, the magnetic attraction and repulsion feel pretty satisfactory, and if you continue developing the game you should add like electricity and stuff like that. And the rest is well put together, the visuals, the sound effects and the music making it a really fun experience. 10/10 Good game :D
