In what way does your game fit the theme?
A way that people stay connected is through things like mail and delivery services. Additionally, there is a quest in which you must go out of your way to help a fellow delivery bot. Without you, who knows what may have happened to them!

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
The vast majority of code and assets are from scratch, except for the use of the Kuchen library, and the majority of sound effects.

Sound effects used, with permission, from the Adobe Audition Library and from freesound.org. Links below.

Nice Idea! graphics and sound was cool :)

An interesting idea and very visually impressive! It has a good style and the systems you implemented (map, text popups, visual clues like the pickup/drop off zones) all worked well. It felt quite luck dependent as to whether or not I failed, as the traffic doesn't appear to have any kind of predictable pattern or follow any rules and was too fast to dodge, so if I got lucky I delivered the parcel, otherwise a car spawned in my lane and I couldn't avoid it in time.

As others have mentioned, maybe tweaking the traffic behaviour, speeding up the player vehicle or added a direction icon to show roughly where the target is would help gameplay somewhat. Nice work though and a challenging project to undertake in a week so well done! :)

This was fun, I really liked the little notifications. Reminded me of the lightheartedness of Wall-E for some reason. The map view was so much better than the third-person view it was not even a choice. I think it could have been interesting to have a first-person perspective.

Really fun game, especially liked how over the top the explosion effect is. Had a hard time with the controls at first, but got really into it towards the end, well done!

I like it.  I do think a minimap would have been a good choice. The map-view is pretty much always the best so you can not only know where to go, but also see oncoming traffic from afar, yet normal view is much more enjoyable. Perhaps an arrow pointing towards the destination and no map screen would have worked best, I think. Overall, good work!

Nice idea! I’d suggest moving the map to the main screen as a minimap, since by the time you open the map and find your destination you’re usually hit by a car. Also proper traffic lights & direction would improve the experience a lot - it was really sad to be moving on the rightmost lane & be hit by an upcoming car. Everything else is nice, good job!

graphics and sound was cool and i liked the idea, the movement felt hard to get used to but the main thing was the timer didn't seem to ever go up! I think the time pressure was a bit harsh, nice game though i would love an "easy mode" with longer timers

Thank you! We did toss around the idea of difficulty modes - I think with more time, we would have done that. Appreciate the feedback!
