Cool idea, it has some bugs, and the camera movement doesn't feel right, but if you update it after the jam it could be a great game.

I love the idea, and I had fun playing the game. It was a bit too difficult, but it's not a big issue. Overall a good jam game. Well done.

The art is nice and the concept fits the theme very well. I especially liked the zombie sounds. Unfortunately, I didn't like the controls. They made walking around and navigating the corners a real chore sometimes. For me, it would have worked better to have the zombies respond to the move keys directly (like in most top-down games).

I really like the style but the camera seems to be much faster than the player. try clamping the values of your camera to not let the player go off-screen

It would be cool if you could check out my game too and give it a rating. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/925013

My hopes weren't too high when I saw the page but YOOOO this game is really fun! The characters and how they walk are so adorable. And I love the different zombies and different humans such good work all around. Can't wait for more levels post jam :)

Thank you for playing the game, and we're glad you liked it! :)

Unfortunately, due to the lack of time, we weren't able to do some finishing touches. It's a little rushed to be quite honest. We had a lot of props drawn, which weren't used in the game, we submitted to the jam.

We had also drawn a ton of other maps, that we didn't get to implement.
