Nice I like the concept it's interesting. I felt like the controls sometimes were weird, like my character was not moving in the direction of the input. I fas feeling like a ninja moving so fast that enemies could not hit me. Nice entry!
Decent game, the controls are a little bit weird to get accustomed to using but overall a well structured game. Just wish that it was a little bit more clearer to be able to see the bosses and other stuff but I guess that's the point of it. Congrats on your game!
Great to see another UE5 game! Super unique and interesting idea that you've executed very well, looks great visually and I had a lot of fun playing it.
Really liked playing this game, and most certainly will add it to my collections well done!
Glad you enjoyed it, Thanks a bunch for the support
I like the deer skull beast i think it's cute :)
Really cool game, you made a good job in here, combat is a bit challenging but in a good way, since you always can go back to your base to heal yourself. The bosses are cool too, but what turns them challenging is the horde of small enemies around you while fighting the boss, but I could defeat the 2 of them and I could ascend. The craft system is cool as well, but you have to grind a little bit to use it. After ascend I thought I had beated the game, but it appears 2 strong enemies, after that I died and the game start all over again. I think it was better if we had a checkpoint after ascend, but I can understand your decision, after all you have to risk it for the biscuit, huh? If it was so easy wouldn't be a risk lol. So, good combat and base system, I enjoyed the experience and it's a good challenge. Congrats for your game
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah that part after you ascend is a bit brutal, I didnt have much time to properly balance it since final boss + a lot of other things were all done together the night before submission 😅, definitely something that needs tweaking.
But im happy you managed to make it so far, thank you for playing :D
The only game that uses UE5 in this game jam I would believe. Visuals looked great, although needs some balancing. Combat is a little too difficult unfortunately. Camera shakes too wobbly and it gave me a small headache. The implementation of risk factor and assets are very well done. Enemies and combat system is quite smooth as well. For a 1-person jam, it has indeed exceed expectations as a 3D TDS
The idea is cool and I like the visual style. The combat is a bit difficult as it's very hard to hit enemies without getting hit myself. But I like the different weapon types and upgrading my force field to be able to reach deeper into the level.
Really cool game, struggled some with the controls but the idea was solid, Nice seeing a top down unreal game done well. Great sound and lighting. This is well used assets. Consistent style. Fun to play nice atmosphere. Spooked me a little :)
Solid game. A more detailed tutorial would be nice. For a week's worth of work, this is extremely good.
Oh my god this game is insane. It's a crime more people haven't rated/commented. This feels like an official game made in much, much more time. I adore the music - the change when I got to my first boss struck me and really pushed me to continue. The visuals are incredible and really atmospheric, the gameplay loop is solid - I would just say to a) allow HTML if you can, so that more people are inclined to see this master piece and b) Have a more interactive tutorial so it's easier to understand everything - it kind of feels a little hard to register everything being thrown at you at once
Thank you for the kind words!
I spent a lot of time fine tuning this game and making sure it feels right.
As for the html it wont be possible as this was made in UE5 and there is no longer any official support for it afaik and even if it did it would not run well.
Although, I will definitely work towards making the tutorial more interactive and expand on this game a lot lot more in the future!
Thanks again, this comment really means a lot to me <3
Shame about the HTML, but I'm glad you're going to continue! Definitely a deserving game - and I'm glad you appreciated the comment.
