Ranked from 153 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
The character must cross a bridge that could collapse at any moment and takes a risk in the sense that the cookies baking on the other side are well worth it.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All external assets I used are listed on the game's page and also within the game itself as a way to credit their authors, who generously made them available for free and allowed for use in any project. Regarding the code, I had some drafts of path creation since the idea already existed in my mind, but I didn't have a game yet. As soon as the jam theme was announced, I created the terrain, set up its progression, designed the entire UI, worked on the character's movement and animation, recorded all the sounds (except the music), created the pixel art, etc.

How many people worked on the game?

Apesar de não curtir este tipo de jogo, apreciei o trampo, parabens.

A very interesting little game, each run feels different and keeps me trying again and again. The visuals, character animations, and other details are all perfect. I really look forward to seeing more content

Developer

Thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I really enjoyed RiskMiner too! Have a good jam, mate. And I will continue posting content after the jam. :)

Cool,the gameplay is very interesting

Developer

Thanks =)

Fun puzzle game! It definitely needs some hints in later levels though.

Developer(+1)

Yes, a hint system is in the plans. I intend to continue updating this game after the jam. =)

its such fun concept with lots of potential. the game is really polished. really enjoyed it 10/10

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much!

Submitted(+1)

Great job. It's quite polish for a jam

Developer

Thank you so much! I can say the same about your game! It's very well polished! I really like pixel art and your game is perfect in that regard!

Submitted(+1)

Good game I love how the player looks like. It seems really polished. Didnt enjoy the gameplay asmuch

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback! :) You said you didn't really like the gameplay. Are you talking about the game's style, or something in the game's implementation that might have left something to be desired? I'd really like to know because I plan to keep updating the game, so if there's something I can tweak, it would be really helpful to know.

the game is good, and the mechanics are unique but in the late levels its hard to figured out what is happening maybe some tips for late levels liek the first level also im amazed on how polished this game is for a solo dev

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I need to implement some way to give players hints. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to do this before the jam started, but it will definitely be implemented once it's over. Thank you so much for testing the game and for your feedback.

The art and how polished the game is is incredible! It even has translations, so I was able to play in Spanish, my native language, hahaha! Wow, the fact that you did this as a solo dev in just one week says a lot about you. It's amazing!

 (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) 𖹭. Have a nice jam! 𖹭.ᐟ

Developer(+1)

It was pretty easy to do it in all three languages, since Unity has great i18n support and since my native language is Portuguese, it was just a matter of creating the game and having all the labels localized. :) Thank you so much for testing my game and giving feedback! Have a great Jam too.

fun, but im stuck on secret level hahaha

Developer

Yes, some secret rules levels need to be fine-tuned. Perhaps with simpler rules at the beginning. In any case, your feedback helps me a lot. Thanks!

Submitted(+2)

I liked a lot the game idea but got stuck at level 6. F

Developer

The audience that can progress further and those that get stuck in the first few levels of secret rules vary greatly. These reviews have helped me a lot in planning how to polish the game, both in terms of difficulty and in thinking about a system that allows players to perhaps purchase hints or something like that to guide them toward uncovering the secret rules. Thank you so much for playing and providing feedback.

Submitted(+2)

Fun game! I enjoyed it but for me it got pretty hard beyond the first 5 or so levels. I hope you add hints in the next version!

Submitted(+2)

Very cool game! I like that you have to think and try to find out the rule.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for trying the game and for the comment! I just played your game too! Excellent, congratulations!

Submitted(+2)

Nice mechanics, fits the jam well.

Developer

Thank you very much for testing the game and providing feedback. Unfortunately, I was unable to test your game because I received the following error message when launching it: A D3D11-compatible GPU (Feature Level 11.0, Shader Model 5.0) is required to run the engine.

Probably something wrong with my machine. :(

Submitted(+1)

Thanks for letting me know! The game requires a DirectX 11 compatible GPU (Feature Level 11.0, Shader Model 5.0) to run, so it seems like your machine doesn’t support it. That’s why the error appears — it’s not your fault, just hardware limitations. Thanks again for trying!

Developer

Got it. If you release a web version in the future, please let me know and I'll be happy to try.

Submitted(+2)

A very fun game. I think it has a future on mobile devices.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! You can also play it on mobile from the game's own page. It's cool that I didn't plan the game to run on a mobile version, but the resolution works well.

Very very fun games, ecspecially the secret one, but i found a bug that on the first second at the start of the game, i can just skip the whole thing to the end by clicking on the end tile quickly enough (note : im still on fifth stage) just want you to know

Developer(+1)

Hey! Thanks a lot for pointing out that bug! I was able to reproduce it here and it's scary how I missed it before posting! I'm glad you noticed and posted it here. Luckly it needed just a simple tweak and it's already fixed.

No problem!, glad i can help 🙌

(+1)

Good game, the secret levels are really fun to try until you figure out the solution. Good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot for taking a look and for commenting.

Submitted(+1)

creative and fun 9/10

Developer

Thanks!! I'd like to try your game as well, but I can't run .exe files at the moment. Do you have plans to release a web version as well?

Submitted

maybe ai will try

Submitted(+1)

Very nice and well polished. Each step is definitely a risk when you’re figuring out the secret rules. Simple but engaging and had me racking my brain, so well done!

Developer(+1)

I'm very happy to be able to produce a game that makes people engage as you described. Thanks for the comment and for trying the game.
