One Of A Kind Experience! 🕵️♂️
Things I enjoyed ✔️
Things I would like to possibly see with your title. 🤷♂️
Overall 📓
I enjoyed my time playing this game, your team did a very good job putting this together! I loved every second of it! Very good game!
not well, in principle, the game is normal, but I didn’t understand how to play, a good game, especially the mini-game on the computer scored 51
Thank you for taking the time to review my game, and I appreciate the feedback.
you mentioned some difficulties with the game, and since I'm planning on expanding/improving the game, could you tell me what/how I would fix this? You really dont have to but I'd like to know how I could make this the best experience possible.
Also congrats on a score of 51! thats really good!
Thanks in advance :)
I just didn’t understand that I had to go to the docks first, and didn’t even try, and other locations didn’t start, sorry))
ooooh, I really love this, probably one of my favorite games in this jam! :D
I love the visuals, writing, and concept, and overall presentation, even if it is a bit short, I enjoyed every second of it
fun fact: I was actually considering doing a noir-type investigation game aswell before settling on the final concept for my game lol
Legendary ! I love the 1930's feel to it, the whole art direction was nice and so was the story. I jumped to high on my chair when things started getting thrown at me. GG !
Wow! The game is amazing. Atmosphere, history, contols. Great job!
Fantastic entry to the jam, this game surprised me with it's depth and gameplay.
I jumped so hard when the car was throw at you lol.
I love the mini-game, I've seen people make less complicated jam entries compared to that alone and then you went and had a whole other game on top of it!
Excellent on all fronts, a strong contender for the top spot!
Oh this was nice! Loved the whole old movie look, mystery, sounds and atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the navigation part ( with the map ) ... also played some deep diver :) Ton of great ideas here and splendid execution. Great work!!
damn this game are just totally crazy i need you win this jam
This was a really fun experience. Great take on the theme, and overall execution. Not much to say in the way of critiques. I'd love to see it developed further with some voiceover and extra polish. Great submission!
I recorded a gameplay video of my playtest if you want to see some first-hand reaction and feedback :)
This is an absolute awesome way to give feedback!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it :D!
Thanks! I figured since there's a fairly long review window I might as well record and upload my playthroughs 😁. As a developer there's nothing better than getting to see your game being played by people, and the feedback can often be much more informative than just a few sentences. Happy to see it's appreciated!
Wow this is so good! I was genuinely scared! And the integration of the theme of getting in too deep with a crime org is really cool and creative!
This an interesting and pretty well made little adventure game. Perhaps a bit short, and I would really have loved some voice acting. Perhaps also a bit too much focus on small easter eggs. Overall a good jam game. Well done.
I was absolutly planning to do voice acting, I already recorded everything and all. But my english accent isn't that good, and I had to voice 3 different characters, So it didn't sound very good and I eventually scrapped it.
But I'm gladd you enjoyed the game!
great art, very polished. liked the aesthetic. kinda did not nkonw what to do ngl

loved the game within the game concept. Very well done. Throwback.
The first few areas of this game are incredible, I enjoyed deducing their location from notes and thought the map navigation was really cool. The scene after reaching the dock with the map seemed a little flat. I initially chose the aggressive option, and saw that the game ended.
I was happy to see a scene selector after the credits so I could go back and try again, but despite different choices, reached the same ending.
I didn't go back for a third try, so I will ask, is there a different ending sequence? If not, then I feel that the end is just a series of fake choices that do not matter, and so as a gameplay sequence is far less interesting than the earlier areas.
There was absolutly supposed to be a second ending, but I ran out of time, The one ending the game has now is some kind of ducktaped together hybrid of the 2 planned endings.
The attack option was supposed to let you kill the other guy with a few quick time events, and then you would throw him in the water. but, this was obviously way to ambitious and didn't make it in.
I hope that this didn't completly ruined your experience and I completly agree that the last options are kinda useless.
But I'm glad you enjoyed the first parts!
No worries, I understand the issues that can come up with scoping a jam game, and what you did make is exceptional, just curious if I had missed something or not at the end. If nothing else, this game could be an incredible prologue chapter to a larger project.
I need to know what happens next ;3; Amazing work, visually speaking I don't think any other game will top this. From the first few sentences I reckognized that you must be the easter-egg guy I've seen during development phase :) Make this a full game! You guys really did something special
We love black and white games. The "Dive Deeper" game was fun to play, and the world and story you build around it is, awesome. Super polished and smart mechanics with the map travel on the computer to give a sense of a big city.
short but sweet (well, not exactly, but no spoilers :-) amazing effort for
87 days!Absolutely incredible that this was made in 7 days! And it's really nice to see a more creative take on the theme.
Also, nice detail of having a game within a game, that was cool.
