Really fun game! One slight visual glitch I found by accident is that the enemy fish will spin around you when you die. But I'm honestly impressed by how professional this all looks! It's so much fun to play and really deserves more recognition than this!

Nice game! Love the artstyle and the calming music! I think it would be fun to see what weapon you will get or have different upgrades for weapon to allow differnet playstyles. Good job!

What a fun game! I like how simple but at same time difficult the game is, well done! I really enjoy the atmosphere and the fact that the sounds have a underwater effect, i nice detail.
Sad I didn't have someone to play coop with, but props to you for making it a feature!
I really like the submarine side to side animation, it's simple but really clean. Also I loved the bubble gun, I thought it was much more creative than traditional shooting and wish it wasn't replaced after the tutorial.
Controlling the ship and where you were shooting was unnecessarily difficult, I assume you did it to add more challenge but the game was already hard and taking control away from player hurt the experience. I wish you could just have the sub shoot where your mouse is pointing.

As I had to keep co-op in mind from the very start, I couldn't delegate aiming to the mouse as I had originally intended(Most people don't have two mouses for player 2!), so I opted to have the aim point where you're moving. However the submarine side-to-side animation looked a little funky, so I inverted it. I didn't really think about how this affected the aim at the time so it's certainly more challenging than I originally anticipated. In the future I'll be sure to spend more time in making sure these things are more well planned.
We were surprised to see a game in this jam we could play in co-op! It did seem that only one player was able to get the weapon pickup, and due to that and lack of oxygen I ended up dying and left player 1 to try and finish alone.

Glad you liked it! After I had wrote a few of the lines I decided I wanted to lean into a more DRG Mission Control-like character.
As for the shark, the only way to avoid it would be to move out of it's range, but that's really just a skill issue on my part- I didn't spend enough time playtesting and balancing.
