Speed is peak

Love how the level of conflict in the story is reflected in the difficulty and visual style of the level. Tight platforming mechanics too, though I did not know about grappling upwards or diagonally until I figured out by accident halfway through the game. Really good game!

I love the music and the colors and the vibe! Would like the bird to be a bit faster and to drop energy more frequently, and for hitboxes to be more lenient, but overall still had fun driving.

Really interesting vibe, had me freaking out when I saw the zombie guys since they weren't anywhere else in the itch page haha. Wish you guys could have finished the knot mechanic, it's really cool especially in context with the game's tone.

Unique take on the theme for sure, and pretty fun turning things into horses. Need more horses. Good game!

Tickled my brain with the puzzles. Game has a very distinct aesthetic and commits to it, which I enjoyed very much. Nice!

So peak... 10/10 would put all 4 bear legs in the same spot again.

Thank you for the support!

Pretty chaotic, the game is definitely true to the title. Good job!

Really like the moving platforms and how they carried you different places. Wish that platforms wouldn't instantly go from solid ground to a slip-n-slide adventure when rotating. Other than that, loved the platforming challenge, good work!

Love the artstyle, the slime animations and the player movement are very well done!

Pretty tricky finding the right combination of abilities against the enemy, especially when you have to arrange them in the order of a song. Enjoyed playing this!

Pretty fun balatro-like game, the scaling is pretty insane with how fast you get gigantic numbers. Very clean art aesthetic, good job!

Interesting concept and I did feel that the gameplay matched the music inspiration very nicely!

Pressing the buttons and seeing the platforms rotate felt really good. Took some time getting to the center but it was very fun!

A herd of nerds tries to take my life in the basement of a parking garage while all I want is to play with my default sphere. Peak concept would love to see more.

Chaotic little minigame action with a lot of charm! Nice jam submission.

I like how, as you unlock more abilities, the map gets recontextualized and you can move around the same areas in different ways, just like a metroidvania as intended! Really impressive for a jam project.

I love the different enemy varieties and attacks, fighting them feels very fair and their moves are well telegraphed. The loop effects are great too.

Very fun and exciting game! What's super underrated is the replay last level option so I can keep playing with my copies even after I lose.

Pretty unique shooter, I can't say I've seen something like this in a jam before. Cool camera effects and music!

Really love the style and the music, and the boss attacks look sick. IMO, the time between attack warning and attack trigger is too short and there are no I-frames when taking damage, making it really easy to take loads of damage without even realizing it and losing. A lot of potential, some tweaking of the numbers and QOL features should do the trick for a future update!

The best loop moves sequence game I played in this jam. Great game feel, good puzzles, steady introduction of new mechani- IS THAT HATSUNE MIKU!?!?!

I sent so many sheep to the shadow realm. 10/10, would baaaanish again.

Nice map design, looks really good. Car controls in the beginning are super slippery but that's also the point I think since upgrades improve the control. Had fun, good job on the game submission!

Thanks for enjoying the game and the feedback! Next jam I do, I might intentionally make the art worse to force myself to focus on playtesting and additional features. Until I improve at efficiency, I'll have to make some tradeoffs .

You're right that the game definitely needs to get juiced up, something I just couldn't do in time. I was barely able to finish the core gameplay loop and cobble together a UI before submission deadline. Made for a very interesting and memorable first GMTK jam experience :]

As someone who also struggles with finding what to say sometimes, the ending is wonderful and brilliantly executed. Fantastic game!

Really like the different routes that open up once you get certain powerups, and I especially love the AZALI-style music, absolutely goated entry.

Great controls and gamefeel, and  fighting the other snakes for food balls was fun, but I was unsure what the final objective was even after I won. Regardless, really good jam entry!

Cool puzzles with cool solutions, great jam game!

Math rocks. 10/10

Really liked the idea and the boss fights were challenging. I do agree with the previous comments in that it was pretty hard to keep track of all the visual information on the screen like enemy positions, player positions, bullets, attacks, and the rhythym meter. Maybe keeping the rhythym meter in a fixed position on the UI would be better, or even have the music sync to the current weapon's rhythm to help. Great game!

Pretty good game, I liked the different upgrades and how the lifecycle phase transitions created an ebb and flow in the gameplay. Good job!

Hehe, that is a fun reaction. One thing about the echoes is that their bullets aren't supposed to collide with the central boss machine, but I guess that bug slipped through when I changed around some stuff with collision layers. That might have contributed to you feeling that they were helping, so sorry about that :P. Glad you thought it was fun!

I am planning to do a patch and add some more content in the future because I really like the aesthetic and raid-lite boss mechanics I implemented, and have always wanted to make a bullet hell for some time. It might take a bit because school starts up again soon, but stay tuned!

Yeah, SFX has historically been my game dev weak point. I probably should take some time to actually study sound design in a timely manner for games like I did for programming, art, and music haha. Thanks for playing and reviewing!

There really were dragons. Can confirm.

Really cool music and I especially love the tape loop playing the music going backwards and forwards. The level looping in on itself is interesting, like how a tape loop does as per the title. Unfortunately with my amazing(ly bad) puzzle platformer skills I got softlocked in the level right after the tutorial levels. Would have loved to play more. Fantastic vibes and a solid jam entry!

Love the sound and visual design!

Really liked the game mechanic and the sound effects, and the characters look soo good! I get the pastel color palette vibes but I wish the colored loop sections had a little more contrast compared to the background so they're easier to see. Still a great game!
