I love how the theme is used! The vibe and feel of the game is unmatchable, it has its own aura and it is outstanding in this Jam. Congrats for such an admirable submission.

This was so sweet and uplifting.  The entire conversation with the donut made me smile.  I got a little stuck on Melony's dream after talking to her since there wasn't really any clear instructions on what to do,  and I only had time to make it through the Easter Island heads convo.  It's pretty slow paced, so it was hard not skipping through all the text because they were scrolling through so slowly.  But the pace is probably appropriate since the message of the game is meant to be more therapeutic.  Great job.

I had a giant smile on my face the entire time playing this game. It's charming, wholesome and beautiful. The music was simple but watching her play her song was such a lovely moment and I think you did an amazing job for your first time composing music. Super super impressive!

Ok! So let me start off by saying I loved the artstyle low poly and mostly solid colors mixed with AO. I loved the idea of exploring dreams to unravel stories after all one of my favorite games is yume nikki. The exploration aspect was very well done because the atmosphere and artstyle made the dream worlds intriguing. The sound effects and music was very well done as well. Only criticism or more like minor nitpick I have to give is about the collision more importantly invisible walls there were areas where invisible walls kinda took me out of the experience like the sea because there was nothing really blocking my way. Also I found a bug that allowed me to clip into the ocean in the donut's dream thankfully I already collected the seashells so I was still able to get out. I gotta say this game was very well optimized especially for a jam game since I was able to run it at a solid 60fps on my potato laptop. Great game! I would love to see a steam release of this in the future.

Thank you so much! It really means a lot to me!

It fits the theme from different angle thats extra point.

First try, Love the donut voices. Cute and smooth graphics. Thanks for right and left click when talking. I fall to the ocean and stuck so had to quit and play again.

Second try, if shells had outline or something after taking quest It would be better I guess. Because it looks like the game is not about how you play, it is more like experience. But thats not effect rating for me.

Second level First Try, I like the differences between levels (dreams). Variation of quest is nice too. But I didn't know where to walk and then fall to the ocean again :D When I restart the game it send me to the beginning :(( It would be helpful to pause menu and restart level.

Well polished completed game. Thats not common in jam. Well done!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! You are completely right, I should add more direction and world collisions to the game. I took for granted where would the player go

Developer(+1)

Now the player can restart the level and I've added more collisions to the maps. Also seashells outline when the quest to collect them is activated!

Super unique take on the theme which I can appreciate! You could 100% Expand this game and take it any direction you wanted! Great job, you should be proud!

THIS IS NOT A ONE WEEK PROJECT IT LOOKS AMAZING!! Jokes aside the atmosphere is impeccable. Art and sound design are amazing!! Choosing dreams as a topic is also a win in my book. It really is a very nice experience 10/10

This game is amazing. Wonderful job on all of it. It honestly looks better than some games people spent years on.

I'm speechless. Did you sell your soul to make this? The graphics, the music, the animations, the dialogue, just everything!! This is so cool and I would honestly love to see a full version!

Developer

Huge thank you!

From the photos it looks like a lovely, yet mysterious game and I wish I could see it, but after being in a black room with 6 ceiling lights for 10 minutes I gave up trying to find my way out :( Not sure if I did something wrong... I love the graphics in the photos!

EDIT: I downloaded it now, and the room was lit! Really lovely story with the donut, and a beautiful donut beach! I got to the turtle, and went into their dream, but I sadly managed to fall out of the map. Even so, I really enjoyed the game!

Thank you so much! The webgl build was giving me too much headache and the windows version didn't like some shaders I had written in linux. Now it works even tough its still a little broken.
