I somehow was specting a very different game, and its quite good surprise, the visuals are cool in this style, the mechanics are fun, its surprisingly satisfactory to shoot at things and see them change or open to reveal some items, really nice ambient and mood, I like it very much, I hope you can expand after jam, its a cool game!!

Abisselfa's itch.io pageGame's Take on the Theme
The core take on the theme for Abisselfa is that the player has a revolver that they can upgrade as the game goes on, primarily by choosing round upgrades which change the gameplay. As more upgrades are added to the revolver's rounds, new opportunities open up for the semi-random boss in the game, and the player get's increasingly stronger. On top of this, there are also some attacks in the game that spin, but that's a lesser use of the theme.
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
All of the art was made during the jam. One music track was made during the jam for this game, ('Wandslingin Wizard' by Cris "Ariyassa" Luu). All other music featured in the game is from an asset pack.

Very cool game and fun to play! I loved the visuals and the cowboy thematic. As for the theme spin I feel like its kind of a stretch, but it does have some hints of it, the revolver and some attacks. The game out of the jam's scope is very strong and has a lot of potential!

I had so much fun with Abisselfa! (Love the name and colors) The art is awesome, and the gameplay feels really smooth. The revolver upgrades are a great touch, but the dash was a bit tricky to control. The game is tough, but in a good way!

The game is great, but there’s too little HP, while there are way too many projectiles. It also needs more bosses.
Why is there a dash if it only works toward the boss? It would’ve been better to add more bosses instead of making a bunch of palettes. Also, the theme isn’t really explored.

The dash doesn't go towards the boss, it dashes the player towards the mouse position. But this is confusing I've found and it will likely be changed post-jam to dash towards where the player is moving instead since that's more readable.
Also I do plan on adding more bosses! The slime is supposed to have attacks that are randomized each time with new attacks to make it fresh, based on what upgrades the player currently has. But unfortunately the randomizer broke. It's also something I'm fixing. (The palette's were ones I use for low-color-palette games and took substantially less time then boss design, less than an hour to implement, hence there being palettes haha)

I agree on the dash not being the best. It was designed to dash the player towards the mouse cursor but this isn't conveyed well in the game and it's misleading. It was originally added like that to add to the challenge, so you couldn't shoot when dashing, but the implementation is rough.

Very polished and complete game with a full game loop that keeps you engaged. I really liked what I played.
Really cool game! I love the art and style. It's a bit disappointing that the randomizer didn't work, but I’m excited for the end of the jam to see it fixed and to play against more bosses!

Really nice visuals and sound, the gameplay too seems solid and I like the upgrade system.
Unfortunately the web build has poor performance for me (my browser uses the crappy integrated gpu not the actual gaming gpu), and there's no downloadable version which is a shame as it seems like a really good game.
Overall, from what I have seen its a nice polished gem of a game and I wont hold my performance issues against it on the ratings.
The poor performance is something I witnessed first hand after submitting when I sent it to a friend. I made a downloadable build but forgot to put it on the itch page prior to submitting which unfortunately means I'm sure a lot of people were affected by the performance issues.

Loved your art style, and loved that I could pick my color palleted. I wish there was a little more juice across the whole game, but thought the starting area and upgrades were all really neat. Good job!
Ayoooooo loved you game super sexy visual i wanna touch the bartender inappropiately also i found a weird interaction which i don't think is intended, i got 2 D20, i shot both foward very close to the boss, and when it popped a somewhat high number like 17 it froze and spawned what appeared to be more than 17 bullets and their particles and such, it was like a white ball of particle effects and the game froze up for like 2 3 seconds and the boss got instantly oneshot. very sexy
