what does the morse say?

Developer(+1)

Originally it said "Contract Received" but it was way too long and annoying to hear over and over again so now it's simpy "yz" so it's long enough for the player to react to it but short enough not to be annoying.

Wow! Quite impressive! I liked the arts and gameplay. The newspaper reminded me of the old sincity games... Maybe some zoom option in the view would be nice for old guys like me hehe. Good job

Well it's one of my favourite of this jam, it's pure genius ! This was so entertaining that i kept playing until i coulnd't complete more mission.

Your art is beautiful, your music is perfect for that game, every sound effect is cool, the gameplay is satisfying ...

A real masterclass for me, i loved it !

this is a very relaxing yet stressful game(stressful trying to get all the railroads in lol), the music is nice and soothing, and the colors are very pleasant. good work!

note; the itch.io app doesnt seem to launch this game because of a compression setting, works fine in browser tho.

Impressive scope for a jam game, chill music vibe, and around the 3rd or so contract you realize previous mistakes and the spaghetti starts. had to use the map a lot to figure out which city is where.
colors are easy on the eyes and after playing for a while, I'm happy you went with these two, a lot less harsh and fitting with the time period.

Not gonna lie, I did audibly gasp when I started the game and saw how complex it was but like in a good way. Also dig the style and the tunes!

It's not my type of game, but it's very well made and well worked, congratulations. I loved the song so much, I could listen to it for hours! :3

I really like the concept of the game - however, I had some issues in the webgl version (with the layout, menu and controls - which were only partly visible [macos and firefox]). I like the 3D view a lot more and i love the shader artstyle - maybe it would be cool to make that the default.

Also nicely integrated loop idea. All in all this needs some polishing but for the jam really nice work!

Hi,

this game has a lot of potential! The art for the game is very good in my opinion and the idea itself is original. The gameplay itself is also quite satisfying, I love seeing the trains ride around. One thing you could improve on: making the tutorial easier to recieve for the player, because now it's a lot of text and I think confusion will draw away people from playing the game.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I agree, the tutorial was done very hastily and will be the first thing I'll improve.

I had a lot of fun playing this. The art and gameplay complimented each other really well
