I could get the game to install on Android and press start, but all I could see was a spinning pinwheel just off screen at the bottom and the instructions. Whenever I touched the screen I seemed to instantly lose and got kicked out to the main menu, so I wasn't really able to play anything.

This game was frustrating for me tbh. First off there wasnt a browser or even a windows version and I was charging my phone, but thankfully I use bluestacks to play games like pvz2 so I could just use that to play the apk on my pc. Also, the instructions were clear to me , as Ive seen gameplay like this before, but the character changes way to damn quick for this to be fun for me, I even jump on the tile thats opposite to my color and it still sometimes loses. Perhaps show the time before you switch colors as well as extend the time a bit, and also fix some of the hit boxes. I think it would really help. The game was fine though, and was a neat take on those hyper casual mobile games.
Good job on a release though!
It’s nice to see the game running on Android. I was a little bit confused at first, but once I understood the mechanic, it was so much easier. However, I can see some things that you could improve further. The character changes colors out of nowhere, which could mean a surprising game over. (Not the funniest kind Of game overs). You could let the player know using, for example, some sound effects prior to changing colors so that they’re more likely to react to the new color quickly.
Also, one nitpicky thing, the game requires the screen to be in portrait, so make sure to lock it in that orientation. Right now, it automatically rotates depending on the device’s orientation, which results in the game not being playable when on landscape.
Overall, good job!
Super unique to have an Android casual game in the jam! Takes it bit to get the hang of it but it gets really fun. Good job!
Hey, saw your post in the discord and gave it a "spin"! I'll be honest, it could maybe use a little more clarity in regards to the instructions, and reading any of the text on the opening screen is a bit difficult. But I think the art is lovely, the music feels very ambient, and the idea is very clever!
Fun game with a cool game mechanic. If the controls can be tightened up I think this would make a great casual mobile game.
The instructions are a little confusing. I think it would be worth saying that you only need to care about the colors in front of the drill guy, but I got the idea eventually. Also it's very short. Could be interesting with some more gameplay mechanics or more levels or something. I was a fan of the black/white shader and the drill man model!
