The art is cute but the overall style is a bit all over the place, though I guess the same could be said gameplay-wise so I guess it fits. Good job!
Delightfully chaotic! ... At times I had no idea if I was on my first or last lap ... which is not necessarily bad.
On the negative, you mention the lack of a loading screen, and that really shows.
Why not both ;D
Yes, unfortunately we didn't have any time for integrating "the last polish" :( Thanks for playing and your patience!
As someone who enjoyed two dimensional mario kart in his youth, this was a nice little throwback. The jank got me on the second race, where I was flung way off the map and seemed to lose all control. I like that the art style was super cohesive, but I had some trouble understanding how collisions with other eyes worked.
Thank you! Yeah, sometimes when two eyes get you with a lasso it gets really confused, but I did usually end up somewhere on the track again after a while of randomly flying around haha
The colliders are where the wheels touch the floor
I wish I could do art like this!
Thank youuuu :3
Very unique visuals, the physics is a bit janky, suddenly I'm moving backwards at high speed
Looks like someone used the Lasso on you :D But I admit, it's not always very clear who does what (which also was a little bit intended, but we didn't want it to be completely confusing and off putting )
I haven't seen art this unique in a long time. Your artist did a really good job!
Thank you very much for your kind feedback, it means a lot to me!
Crazyness.. of the good kind! And so much content.
YES! Ab-so-lute crazyness, that was the goal. Thank you for playing!
The game feels like I’m having a 40 degree celsius fever. The items are confusing, the audio is an auditory assault and the graphics make me feel unsafe. But somehow, all of this ends up feeling coherent, intended, and like a feature. It seems wrong to classify a transcendental experience like this on a scale of 1 to 5.
In short: game’s pretty good, good job!
Glad you enjoyed the game the way it was intended :3
Love this! Turning is a little hard since the turn radius is really big. But the art style is so fun.
Thank youu! :3 It might take a bit of practice but you will be first place in no time :D
