The aesthetic is on point, but even with the helpful comments, I struggled to get much past the first era and area. The faux-console running the game made me want some old school floppy drive and monitor sounds. I really dig the dithering and delorean!

if you use the mame emulator to play, you get some floppy sounds :-)

The graphics, and old text adventure style is really neat! I like this a lot.
Images were nice. Since the verbs were so limited, something like a command palette would have been a nice affordance (I'm not really into old-skool guess the word puzzles though ; - ). Very cool to run so retro!
I had to peek at the source code to get the final word in one of the eras. Other than that I think I mapped it all out legit. Nice aesthetic.
I believe I beat the game. :)
Nice use of dithered graphics and the resources available for such a limited computer. :) I did get some errors after the completion message but I don't want to spoil the ending for people. Input was a bit buggy at times as well.
i found the boat and the mystical lake, but got stuck. I think I need to type a three letter word, but what?
I had to look up Amstrad CPC , old school !!
a tiny lisp on a retro emulator running in the browser? what's not to love?
i dig the retro graphics too :)
I consider the source code to be part of the game ;-) Your view might be different. But please don't reveal the solution.
I’m having trouble making it go. Beautiful in-retro-vm-graphic though.
See below, maybe it helps? Important is to click the emulation window with the mouse to give focus.
Oh, you are right. I had to try my-other-left-click (??). Beautiful game.
Looks interesting but there doesn’t seem to be a way to know what keys do anything. Some instructions would help.
Part of the game is to find out what works but yo can go north, west, east and south (keys: n w e s or cursor keys)
