Finally found the cultist.
I like the idea and the art. but I don't really get the connection with the theme.
I think with some more work this game could excel in another jam.

Didnt find the theme at all, but the graphics are very nice, the ladders feels weird, and random switching to russian was a little hard for me, cool little game though :)

Some of the text gets taken away while you're reading it if you are pressing a direction when the text appears. Also, this guy sure does traverse ladders FAST. Great job otherwise though. I'm still trying to figure out how to win.

I really liked the visuals in this. I couldn't figure out how to get past the gate though.
You can pass through only in the text and in order to do this, you need to find a cultist at the bottom of the map, and something else, but I don't quite remember what =)

The graphics are absolutely excellent! The gameplay feels a bit shaky sometimes, with the game not always behaving the way you would expect it to. Some of the larger chunks of text sometimes automatically disappear before you get the chance to properly read it, and the sometimes broken English doesn't help much either. It's a small thing, but it may be worth asking a native or proficient friend to proofread your English while you continue working in the future because broken English can really distract a lot. The game also sometimes randomly switches to Russian. It's a good, cute little prototype though, so congratulations!

Even though this game was submitted by mistake, it is still pretty good. Definitely some tweaking could help, but overall good job!

I really like the artwork! An interesting start to a game! I can't seem to get past level 1, it keeps resetting when I get to the floor.
A few bugs here and there with collision, also at one point my game switched to Russian.
