Great game, awesome UI
The gameplay isn't the mostest bestest, but the animation of the targets, this thing made me laugh in awe. Great job!
When you have understand what you suppose to do, the gameplay idea is pretty fun. The interpretation of "you are the weapon" is very interesting (like the ammo = health points), and the UI is cool.
But there really misses a visual feedback for the damages, and a little music ;)
And maybe some explanations, who tell us why a gun make backflips, in space, while shooting on targets with arms who shoots .. i don't know ... hands? (That was funny xD).
So, a pretty cool concept who can be more pulled up!
Thanks, im very glad you liked it. For the most of the things it's easy fix, but i don't think im going to add music - im learning way to much things at once to get into music, but maybe i will grab some ambiance from freesound website
The idea is good, I liked how your bullets left are also your life points, makes you be more careful when you are getting into the action, but there are two major problems:
1- There should be more feedback to what the user does, at first I had my doubts of what could you shoot and what not, and since the asteroids and the enemies have a lot of life you have the impression that you are not supossed to kill them in the beginning.
2- You should give more money or have a cheaper price for the weapons, and it would be cool to have a high speed button or something like that to refill your ammo quickly, the game takes too long to get the next weapon and keep advancing.
Thank you very much for feedback, there is a lot more to fix then just those 2 things. My biggest mistake was that i got too ambitious and i had 0 time to playtest. I am definetly going to make after-jam version of this game.
1- is definitely easy to fix, good tutorial and hitmarks will solve it all
2- for the two i was thinking that the player should slowly get more speed, so you can quickly fly through already cleared areas (or maybe checkpoints along the way, that would be cool)
oh and the weapons are waaay to expensive
Overall, interesting game! I could have used a bit more visual feedback because it was kinda hard to tell if I was actually hitting the enemies. I like the money system and the potential to unlock different weapons. Nicely done!
Hey! thanks for nice words, going to make more feedback in after-jam version
kinda open world?
