Hi!

We're looking for an artist for our project right now. I would love if you checked it out at: https://itch.io/t/2507335/arthobbyrevshare-hi-all-were-looking-for-a-3d-artist-t... I understand that you have limited experience with 3D, but as long as you're willing to learn I'm sure we can figure something out. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi! Your offer sounds very professional. I would love it if you checked out out project. I explained it thoroughly here: https://itch.io/t/2507335/arthobbyrevshare-hi-all-were-looking-for-a-3d-artist-t... Hope to hear from you soon!

We (info about us at the end) recently started work on a very original concept for an online game. For now, I'm handling the graphics myself, but it's not really my area of expertise. I would much prefer to only have to focus on programming and have someone to help with the graphical side of things.

I recently made a WIP post of the project:  https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMFQXLS5W/

The main premise of the game is that the environments that players go through are pretty much exclusively player built. You start in a lobby, where you can meet other player before you embark on your journey, then you go through the player built dungeons. If you encounter a part that wasn't built yet, you can make it yourself, for all future players to experience. The player might be rewarded for making a particularly hard dungeon, maybe order of the dungeons will get scrambled, or a dunegon might be removed if enough players downvote it. A very good way to describe the play fell would be a 3d mario maker in a dwarven environment with a bit of Minecraft'y feeling thrown in.

The scope might expand in the future if it goes well, but for now I would want an artist to help with: the beginning mountain scene / entrance to the dungeon (you can see it in the video), the dwarf character and any of the tools that he might be using (the character is in the video as well), and all of the building blocks that players can use in the editor, like traps, floor tiles, walls, torches. It would be a huge bonus if you know basics of graphical design as well, since I'm going to start making a website with trailers and concepts soon.

A big advantage of this concept is that the development steps are very well encapsulated. Just as the first version of Minecraft could be made in a week or so, I plan to release the first version, with obviously very limited level editor, but fully working, next month or so.

Our team:

Ty (Me) - I have a lot of experience with algorithmic coding and optimization. I'm known as the guy that can make anything work. Just last month, I released my first fully commercialized game: https://www.reddit.com/r/IndieGaming/comments/ynmk5d/ive_been_improving_our_ai_a...

Adam - A very talented musician that always amazes me with how passionate about his work he is: https://open.spotify.com/artist/2guQP6A7bRRSC92YgQQZqw

You - An amazing person and a great addition to our team

Feel free to contact me in the comments or through discord tymotylis#3958 . I'm open to any collaboration or help, hope to hear from you soon!

Sent you a request

Hi! I sent you a discord invite, looking forward to talking with you!

Hi! I sent you a discord invite from tymotylis#3958, looking forward to talk with you

Hi all! I recently released a mobile game where you build funny creatures, and they evolve using my novelty algorithm (Creature Lab: Real Evolution on google play)! Due to popular demand, I plan to take the algorithm a step further and make a full RTS / Spore like version.

A mobile game was easy enough, but I couldn't handle a project of that scale by myself. I'm looking for a designer and a 3D artist. Feel free to hit me up

how the fuck did you find this game

I don't want to brag, but mi high score is 7223

Yeah, i didn't think about the cursor, and letter outline would be so great, too bad i didn't think about it earlier. I think now i have to make post-jam :P

Note to everybody, alternatively you can control with (z, x, c) scheme, if the mouse controls aren't in your liking.

If anybody knows how to make bigger windows, without changing the resolutions (unity) - pls help me

It worked, thx

I love this game!

It's kind of like "Bird Box" - love it

I like the game, but can you put "New Game" Button a bit further, or at least add a confirmation menu, i clicked it accidentally :P

Thx dude, im still wondering if picking standard grid based tetris instead of physic based wouldn't be more fun.

'U' are the weapon :P

It's really fun to play, great concept - you could definitely make full game out of it. But im giving you 2 stars for "2 Colors", because of that blurry images in menu.

Wow, the graphics are amazing. Thou to be honest you didn't do to well on the programming part, It would be awesome if you teamed up with good coder.

You should write in english, i don't know what language is that but i dont understand it, sorry :P

good game tho

Hey thats very nice game! Keep up the good work PL

I love the game, i love how you managed to extend that concept over only 48 hours.

Hey! thanks for nice words, going to make more feedback in after-jam version

kinda

Thanks, im very glad you liked it. For the most of the things it's easy fix, but i don't think im going to add music - im learning way to much things at once to get into music, but maybe i will grab some ambiance from freesound website

(1 edit)

Thank you very much for feedback, there is a lot more to fix then just those 2 things. My biggest mistake was that i got too ambitious and i had 0 time to playtest. I am definetly going to make after-jam version of this game.

1- is definitely easy to fix, good tutorial and hitmarks will solve it all

2- for the two i was thinking that the player should slowly get more speed, so you can quickly fly through already cleared areas (or maybe checkpoints along the way, that would be cool)

oh and the weapons are waaay to expensive

I just love this game, it's not long but i felt really amused with puzzles and the story.

Tried everything, it doesn't load :(

Its such a great game, i don't understand how you managed to pull that off in only 48 hours! i love the explosion effect
