I am Santi and I am trying to build a portfolio as systems game designer (core mecanics, polishing, game balance, GDD preparation... ). Have a look at my profile to know a bit more about the projects I have been working on. I am specially good at creating strong and focused GDDs, coming up with interesting mechanics that fits with the theme of your game, and analysing strengths and flaws of a project.
I am looking for people who has a similar goal in terms of building portfolio, so we can team up and create small games/prototypes solid enough to be proud of, and used them in our respective portfolios. I am also open to work in bigger projects if the scope is in check and the vision and prospects of the game really got me :)
I have experience with Unity and Game Maker, and I can help the team out with the programming or the implementation part of the project also, if needed, but I would prefer sticking to game design.
I am open to join a team who needs a game designer, with a regular dedication of 1-2h/day or a max. of 10h/week.
In addition, if an experienced game designer is reading this, I am also in search for a mentor, someone who can guide me to develop my skill sets in the best way.
