Hey everyone, just wanted to add a disclaimer that I’ll be going on vacation and will only have access to an Android device and an old MacBook starting tomorrow. So, I apologize in advance if I’m unable to play someone’s game due to these limitations. Thanks!

As of this post, I’ve reviewed everyone who has reviewed my game.

Fantastic game dude! Really cool idea and really fun to play. The classes felt really unique and the game had good difficulty. Nice job!

Thanks!

this game is fantastic! i loved the atmosphere it gives aswell as the graphics and music (idk where you guys keep getting these cool tracks for your game :///)  the gameplay is pretty simplistic for now but it has the potential to expand to be a very replayable fun game, i suggest adding mechanics like events between rounds that can remove or add cards, starter cards can change for example, or killing enemies has a chance to drop some cards for you to pick :DDD

Developer

Yea, I’d like to add some more mechanics to the game. I didn’t add a way to add/remove cards so I could keep with the jam’s theme of starting with everything and ending with nothing.

Thanks for checking the game out!

Great concept! Good game difficulty, not too hard but not too easy. Posed a solid challenge, and I like the idea that it was a card game that very much played like a puzzle. Looking forward to seeing the additional characters, cards and levels!

Cool art style and great music as well!

Thanks for checking the game out!

Thanks, our games were quite similar in many ways!

A good foundation for a card battle game.  Hope to see you expand on the mechanics after the jam!

Awesome game! I enjoyed playing with the Warlock even though it took a couple of tries. I also liked the introduction of cards with two different stats, like self hurt or heal, it definitely made it more challenging. Amazing work overall!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked the warlock, I had a lot of fun designing his cards! Thanks for the feedback!

Super fun! Took an embarrassing number of tries to win with the Warlock, but got there in the end :D Great entry!

Developer(+1)

Nice! The warlock is pretty tough to win with, but I think he’s more fun to play as. Thanks for the feedback!

Wow! I love the game! Also i love that you put the tutorial at the start, it was really usefull! it's really polish, the run with the warlock was more difficult than i thought. awesome!

Developer

I made the knight first as he’s easier, but the warlock is more satisfying to play. Thanks for the feedback!

A great card battler that was well designed and quite fun to play. The gameplay itself is quite solid, and I can definitely see these game mechanics being used in a larger game. I also liked the varying gameplay between the characters. A good game, and solid entry to the jam.

Developer

Thanks!

Nice game, I like roguelikes and card games a lot. I would've loved to see some resource management with cards, like energy or smth, because I just played all the cards in random order and was successful he he he he he
Overall that's one of my favouite genres so I liked it

Developer

Haha nice, the knight is not too bad to beat. If you try out the Warlock, he’s a lot tougher! Thanks for playing.

Loved the take on the theme! I enjoyed how the game-play manages to restrict the player in a fashion that forces one to carefully manage their resources. Loved the enemy designs as well!

Developer

Thanks! I can’t take credit for any of the art, as it was all asset packs haha.

That's a super good and creative take on the theme. I love how you are incentivized to manage your resources carefully, learn and think ahead. the game has a lot of potential and ways to add even more complexity and depth. excellent for a single week! awesome work.

Developer

Thanks! I would’ve liked to have made an additional character, some more enemies, and more worlds, but time is always limited for a jam haha.

I thinkthe  gameplay is very solid and can have much space for interesting mechanics if expanded. Maybe being able to use a card even after an enemy's death (like healing) would be an interesting choice. Well done!

Developer

Thanks!
